Very nice staying, great location, will definitely come back

A very pleasant and enjoyable stay, located inside the old walled city. Lots of history here with beautiful beaches and colorful kite surfers. Also a short walk to the FRS jet boat that puts you in Tangier’s Africa in 30 minutes and on to Casablanca on a modern high speed train in about 2 hrs. Tarifa is a very relaxed small city that still has the old world charm. I spent another day and night here after my Casablanca tour and would definitely stay again.

The facility and room are very clean. Excellent location and front desk lady was friendly and helpful.

It was in a great location, restaurants, the harbour , the old church within minutes and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

This is a very inexpensive hotel but it was clean and spacious. It is right in the heart of the old part of Tarifa and close to the port to take the ferry to Tangier. It is closed each day from 14:00 to 17:00 so you may need to plan your arrival to check in.

La Joyita is small, only 5 rooms. Each room has its own character (pink room, green room, etc.). It is just behind the cathedral in the NE corner of the walled city. It only takes 15 min to go out to the causeway that divides the Med and the Atlantic. Lots of great restaurants, including the Bar El Frances where we had a wonderful supper (it's known for its tapas). Super place to kite surf. Nearby are the Roman ruins at Balonia

Great place to stay in Tarifa! The manager was so nice and shared lots of good recommendations around town with us- would stay here again!

There was an unfortunate mix-up with the number of nights we were staying, but that doesn't take away from the place itself. Room and property were clean and very nicely appointed. Only negative about the property was that it was very difficult to locate even with the directions.

Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. It was also close to a lot little stores and places to eat.

A lovely place to stay right in the heart of the action in the old town but down a quieter side street. The owner was very friendly and offered helpful tips and spoke good English. The room was clean, the colours a bit too bright but comfortable. Just beware that the doubles are good for couples and single travellers, but the bathroom is linked to the main room and not behind a separate door.

SPENT 2 NIGHTS HERE, COMFY HOTEL IN CENTRE OF TOWN. WENT ON THE FERRY TO TANGIER BEING MAIN PURPOSE OF VISIT. CLEAN AND COMPACT ROOM AND HOTEL

The receptionist was very informative and kind. The hotel was in a great location and clean. The WiFi was OK in some areas of the room. The room was not of the value of the rate charged. The bathroom was clean, but the toilet was in the shower within a very small space that was all glass offering no privacy. The mattress was basically on the floor with a wooden box around it. Sheets were very clean.

Our hostess accommodated our being late from Tangier. She met us at the local church. Great room, very clean.

Super friendly and helpfull staff and great location. Rooms are a bit odd with a glass wall to the bathroom and not very sound proofed but very decent for the price

This isn't a luxury hotel, but no one has told the staff! Though rooms and facilities are basic, Sarafin went above and beyond to make the stay wonderful. He helped us with a restaurant reservation, was very responsive over email, and just generally very friendly. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Tarifa!

Hotel La Joyita de Tarifa is a cute, funky little place located in a great area of town close to restaurants and shops. The rooms are tidy and neat and there is a great rooftop patio where one can relax with a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing. The proprietor of the hotel was extremely welcoming and full of good information about the local area. Probably the best hotel we stayed in during our trip though Spain!

What a cool place to stay. Serefin was an excellent host, provided us with great local info and helped us book a tour to Morocco. Our room was comfortable and the hotel is situated at the edge of Old Town and very much within walking distance of most everything of interest in Tarifa.
