I booked this hotel for two nights through an online hotel website. When I arrived, I was told the hotel was full, and they didn't have a room for me. I told them I booked and paid for it online, and I was asked to see my online confirmation. I showed it to them, and suddenly there was an available room. Check-in seems very unorganised and inefficient. The guy I was speaking to didn't have a book or computer or anything in front of him with bookings or records or anything. While speaking to me, he was also on his mobile phone speaking to sommeone else about me arriving to stay.
Anyway, once this little confusion was cleared up, the room itself was nice, and big. The staff were generally helpful,and the breakfast was nice. It's very close to the beach. The staff also booked a tuk tuk for me to return to Galle when I was leaving.
The bathroom is kind of small, and when you shower, the water covers the whole floor, as there is no lip or anything to seperate the shower floor from the rest of the bathroom floor. But in the heat of Sri Lanka, it dries quite quickly.
Overall, this hotel was lovely to stay in - they just need to improve their administration and organisation.
