The staff was great. We got there early to drop car and bags before heading into the city. They allowed us to check in and offered us a lot of helpful tips for navigating the area and the bus system.

The hotel had unique rooms and gives a modern spin to old times wooden lodges - suites for a cozy stay in harsh winters. Had a wonderful breakfast with laudable emphasis on local produce and producers. The breakfast is amazing. Has ample parking for those who want to use this facility. However it is situated far away from all major points of attraction. Overall a comfortable hotel.

A complete value for money for a pleasant stay

To be clear, it’s not a fancy hotel, but the price-quality ratio was great, in my view. They had a very attentive and helpful staff at the front desk, a very decent breakfast (again, given the price of €9), free parking right across the street and excellent connection to the city center. I’d stay there again, particularly when visiting the town by car.

This is at best a 2 star property . Room has no kettle or coffee machine . Nespresso machine (commercial) in lobby but no pods available , don’t understand the point of it . No resteraunt apart from breakfast , toilet has white tiles , no stones nothing . Coffee in passage way is completely worn out and has stains . One metal key given for room . No separation of waste not eco friendly.

In a quiet neighborhood with convenient transportation off line 6. Room was very spacious and comfortable.

This hotel was out of the city but so easy to get to. Use the number 6 bus which you can get from the train station and buses run every 15mins and take 15 mins into town. A bus ticket for 24hrs costs 4.70 euros and can be bought at the hotel or on the bus. The hotel is clean and comfortable and has lovely views of the mountain from the balcony. A good tip for exploring Salzburg is to buy a Salzburg card , you can get these from the tourist information at the train station or in town, it gives you free entry to museums, cruise, cable car and bus travel. The sound of music tour is also a must.

Our relatives joined us and we were all pleased with the excellence of the hotel. They recommended a local restaurant which was excellent. At breakfast they presented a small Birthday cake plus a candle for our 9 year old niece.

The room was a bit tired. The floors were worn and along the corridors were very stained. The room was intolerably hot as no A/C. I slept half the night and woke covered in bites and itchy. I believe it’s very overpriced. Breakfast was ok, everything was labelled organic and the selection of breakfast juices was odd. I’m glad it was only 1 night.

Expensive for what it is. Quite small room, had a strong smell of mens aftershave. Bathroom very basic, shower curtain covered in orange mould at the bottom which was very off putting. Wouldnt rush back

Decent sized room and good amenities. Parking was just across the street which was a huge plus. Overall a good experience.

A good (but not great) stay for the price. Recently renovated, but needs more work. Ventilation was poor in our bathroom (no windows) and smelled musty. Some service was unfriendly.

Clean, comfortable room, free parking...you can not pull up to the front of the Hotel..park across the street and walk over...nice breakfast.

Large room, BUT; No refrigerator, no phone in room, no air-con. Should rate as a 3 star maximum, nothing like the 4 star shown on the internet.
