Marsa Shagra Village truly felt like a home away from home. Beyond the breathtaking beauty of the Red Sea, what made this place unforgettable was the warmth, professionalism, and heartfelt spirit of the entire team. A special thank you to the wonderful and playful dive instructor Anja, whose joyful energy and dedication made every dive unforgettable. Huge appreciation as well to the amazing equipment buddy Budi and dive team led by cheerful Basta — always organized, helpful, and smiling. Nur at reception welcomed everyone with genuine kindness, while Riad from bookings made everything effortless from the start. Staying in the royal beachfront tent was magical and only added to the feeling of being part of a family rather than a resort. The underwater world was incredible: dolphins, colourful corals, turtles, octopuses, and even the shy and adorable dugong. At night, the sky revealed the most stunning blanket of stars I’ve ever seen. The buffet offered generous variety and many delicious dishes — though at times a slightly smaller selection might allow for even more consistency in quality. The pizzeria deserves a special mention: the Egyptian pizzaiolo Midu makes pizzas worthy of Napoli! I also loved that some vegetables come from the nearby farm cared for by Ott, who also brings beautiful greenery into the desert surroundings. Thank you, Marsa Shagra and Red Sea Diving Safari, for the memories, care, laughter, and sense of belonging. I already miss this special place deeply!

Super clean

Staff were great - all very friendly in all occupations Some were outstanding and took exceptional care of us Bathrooms were exceptionally clean around the clock. Food was very tasty - compared to the Hilton Marsa Alam - the flavours were far superior - less to choose from but great diversity and flavour density. The fish were very abundant and diverse- many turtles - eel - and hundreds of fish and coral Spent 9 days there and would do it again - great value for sure

The most perfect spot! Gorgeous views, no crowds, comfy beds, lovely staff. Could not have asked for a better week. We will definitelt be back!

Liked: large rooms, quiet, varied choices at meals, food was delicious Dislikes: bathroom had urine smell. I propped door open and smell wasnt as strong but was still there. Also, the resort is so big, it felt impersonal and cold

Loved the tranquility. Didn’t love the poor communication or having to ask more than once about addressing certain problems or concerns. Also, would be nice if they had free wifi. Who doesn’t have free wifi in this day and age?

The place is lovely. We stayed in a Deluxe chalet which was comfortable and beautiful, with the view on the sea on one side and the desert and mountains on the other side (but careful to mosquitoes). We went there for a week end of February to snorkel and relax and it was the perfect place. Beautiful fishes and reef (thanks to the staff who make sure that people don't abuse the reef). We also saw many turtles and one white tip shark. The staff is friendly, professional and relax. The food was good. The transfer from Marsa Alam airport is quick and can be organised by the staff on demand. Everything was well-organised and made easy for the guests.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay in a royal tent! The tent was just what we needed -- simple, comfortable, and clean. We even had a front row view to the sea! The bathrooms were a little bit of a walk from our tent, which made me dread having to go to the bathroom during the middle of the night. The food and staff were excellent with lots of variety for each meal. The reception desk helped us organize a day trip south along the Red Sea to see Qulaan and snorkel at Hankorab beach -- super affordable and a wonderful day! I will say that for Egypt prices, the tent is a little spendy for accommodations. Yes, you are right on the water and have access to all inclusive meals and beverages, but at times it felt like we were paying a "divers tax", especially since we weren't necessarily there for the diving. All in all, highly recommend and would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Egypt!
