Hotel Vetusta provided excellent value for money and was ideally located in the city centre - very close to all the restaurants. The staff were very friendly and professional and made us feel very welcome.
We were located on the top floor - which seemed to reduce the noises from the street (however - at night it was quiet). We were given a room with two single beds pushed together - but when we viewed a room with a double bed on the second floor, we decided to keep the original room as it was quieter and had better ventilation. We also preferred the wooden bathroom door instead of the smoky glass bathroom door in the double bedroom.
The room was a good size and clean - as was the bathroom. The bathroom had a shower/tub combination - with good water pressure. While the bed was comfortable (fairly firm mattress), the pillows were long, very firm and too high - so I found that I slept better using one of the flatter, softer cushions from the bed (but if you only sleep on your side - the pillows may be ideal).
Although breakfast was not included in the price of the hotel - the cafe/bar downstairs (part of the hotel) was very cheap and provided excellent coffee and food.
Having stayed in a range of hotels in Oviedo - I would certainly recommend this hotel due to the service, value for money, cleanliness and good condition of rooms. While it's not a luxury hotel - it's a great option if you want to be central, comfortable and save a bit of money!
