Well positioned place and I had a decently located ground floor room

Clean comfortable room, breakfast was good. Great location, gym. Staff helpful. Dinner room service good.

Check in night staff so rude and condesending Room was clean but had stairs to batgroom which i fell down in tbe night as the stair lights did not come on Check out morning staff did not care about our issues Not good for mobility issue people

Air conditioning in rooms and a great breakfast in morning

We moved to this hotel after beinf severely led down by a hotel in Exmouth and the contrast was atonishing! The staff at the Devon hotel were so helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable and welcoming and we’d genuinely stay again!

The check in staff were delightful, professional and provided an efficient service. We had an issue in our room where the stair lights flashed on every 20 seconds, so the duty manager came to our room to see us. Unfortunately we found him quite rude and made us feel devalued when he said “there is only one room left and it hasn’t been sold yet and we have a wedding on”. To be clear at no point did we ask to move rooms and we’re not sure what the wedding had to do with us because at the end of the day we were also customers who deserved good service. He also said that the maintenance person wasn’t on site. He did provide an effective solution of putting blue tack over the lights however I did worry about the electrics being faulty, so didn’t sleep well.

Fantastic value for money. Some nice touches for our dog in the room. Pristine. Ground floor has little sit out area which is good to have a coffee Staff super friendly and very helpful. For the price you cannot beat it. Good restaurant. Nice outdoor seating. On busy main road. Would’ve liked a king size bed minimum but we had a dog friendly room and so ended with a double. Way too small but ok for one night. Used to a superking.

As an overnight stay as part of a long journey to Cornwall, we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped, with very welcome air conditioning. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional with excellent customer service training. Food at both dinner and breakfast was good value and cooked well. We shall definitely look to stay again when in the area.

Perfect. Small but well A/C'd room opening out onto a small patio, with the car conveniently right there, motel style. Nice bar and restaurant. Very good buffet breakfast.

Great place to stay, the rooms have AC. The food was also quite good and you can order off Uber if needed. Will stay here again when I’m in the area

Great stay again, lovely room with effective quiet air conditioning. Reasonably priced Ev chargers in car park. The seafood platter in the restaurant was excellent again. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will be back, it’s a great stop off on the way to Cornwall, only a short detour from there A30 but far enough away not to hear it.

Pleasant stay, would recommend

We booked an executive room, but the bathroom was the size of a closet. It was a bit unclean also, probably because of the age of the peoperty. The room was quiet, but the only thing we could see from the big window was a lawn and a fence very close by. The local bunnies on the lawn were a delight.
