The hotel was walkable from Hikone Station, there’s a roof too so you could walk there even if it’s raining. Along the way from the station to the hotel, there’s a roof too where many restaurants are. The hotel was also relatively close to Hikone Castle and Genkyuen Garden, maybe around 1 km distance. There’s also a shopping mall in front of the station, so you could shop for souvenirs or anything you need there. The room was also quite large, at least I could open up all of my 3 luggage (large, medium, and small sized).
