This hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly, helpful and sincere. The breakfast is good with many varieties to choose from. Unfortunately there is no in house laundry as advertised but you can walk about 3 mins to reach a laundromat. In addition, the hotel is on the 3rd floor of a locked secure building so for an initial visitor, it could be a challenge to go into the hotel. Right after you checked in, they will provide you with an access code to solve the issue.

The vote is nice and updated. The air conditioning did not work so we had to open up the window and the mosquitos were bad. The amenities were nice but the coffee machine did not fit into the electricity socket. I love the breakfast and location

The property is about a 15 minute walk from the station. It is located on the third floor of an office building. The front desk stays was friendly, the room was small, but a good size for a solo traveler, and the included breakfast was excellent. I would suggest a sign in the entrance that it is on the 3rd floor as there a lot of steps if you don’t take the elevator.

Great location but hard to find and enter the hotel.

The hotel staff was very nice and the room was nice. However there was a smell in the room and the air conditioner made a lot of noise.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel front desk lady was excellent. Super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. If we come back to Florence we would definitely consider staying at the DEDO hotel again.

Great location, closed to train station and most tourist attractions. The hotel staff was kind and the breakfast was excellent, good enough to start your day. The building was old but they manage to create a nice Boutique looking atmosphere. Room was good, but the shower was part of the bedroom and you have direct entrance from the bed but they have a curtains to cover the glass. Recommend

I had a wonderful stay at Dedo for 6 nights while visiting my daughter during her study abroad. The hotel is less than 10 min walk from the Santa Maria train station a short walk to the main areas in Florence. I enjoyed a walk back by the river each night. The room was modern and clean with king size bed and spacious vanity area. I enjoyed a complimentary breakfast with delicious cappuccino each morning. The owners are extremely friendly and even helped me with my suitcase down the elevator, staircase to the sidewalk as i checked out the last day. Would highly recommend staying here!

Clean, modern, polite staff

Fantastic place to stay. Very convenient for the station. Very helpful and friendly staff especially Ricardo. Definitely take your keys out with you as we had a long wait at the front door for the bell to be answered.

Good hotel, nice staff and close to downtown.

All of the desk attendants were incredibly hospitable and helpful, Laura and Ricardo especially. The room was clean and perfect for just one person staying on a short trip. There was an odd smell when you first walk into the room which didn’t linger but was always there when you first walked in. The breakfast spread in the morning was solid. The smell of croissants would creep into your room which was very enticing! The location was good and I was able to walk around very easily. I felt safe as the gates were locked by key and code. The only thing that could have been better but no one’s fault is that the walls are very thin so you must be very quiet at night. In the morning when the cleaners are cleaning it is also very loud, for example opening and closing doors, vacuuming with the door open. Otherwise this was a fantastic stay and I would happily stay there again.

Great location to get on and off the train for day trips. Room was refreshed and very nice. Staff was incredibly helpful. Breakfast was a great way to start every day!!!

Very friendly staff and helpful when asked about booking a morning tour with Ciao Firenze. Room was clean and good space. There was apparently an issue with the drainage impacting the entire building hence the issue with the odour along the corridor, but the room itself was nice and clean. We had to leave the hotel before 5am heading towards the airport and didn't manage to check out correctly without a staff at the front desk, but worked out fine since the payment was already taken. Overall, a good place to stay and thank you.

Very hard to find and in sketchy area. We asked for a wine tour. The front desk girl signed us up for a guided Spanish tour that only had one winery. Then, there was a small underpayment by the tour company. This became a constant issue and we felt this cost should have not been charged because they arranged a tour (12 hours) that did not meet our needs. Breakfast was very mediocre too.

Adorable boutique hotel within walking distance of tourist sites! Many restaurants nearby Very helpful staff Newly remodeled My only negative point was it was a bit difficult to see the entrance since the lobby is on the third floor and the main building entrance is street level and the hotel entrance is not clearly marked! Other than that 5 star! Also nice breakfast buffet included!
