Very nice property.

All was great.

We had a great time here while visiting family! This hotel is reasonably priced while also offering the amenities & staff you would expect at a much pricier hotel. Super enjoyable stay & would definitely return!

Paper thin floors. The "customer service" looks at you instead of greeting you waiting for you to start the conversation and then mumble words and you're left not knowing what to do.

We stayed for a tournament for a few days. It was clean, quiet and the staff were awesome. The only draw back were the towels. Wish we were offered more than two bath towels at a time. Other than that loved the full kitchen! Super nice!

A very clean and spacious room. Away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Only negative was at 4:30 AM on the 26th very loud people talking in the hall. I know I could have called front desk but this was on the first floor just down from where the check in desk is. I can't believe they could not hear them unless they were in the back.

I had asked for a room as close as possible to the entrance due to the fact that my spouse has trouble walking too far and was very satisfied with the room we were given. We felt very welcome by the staff. We liked the location being off the main road also.

Great hotel! Only complaint I have is they never came to clean our room. We only stayed 2 night but everything else was pretty clean.

Candlewoods Suites was very nice, good location for what we needed. In town for a wedding. However, we booked thru hotels.com and when we checked in we didn’t have what we ordered 2 months before. Hotels.com blamed Candlewoods, and visa versa. The customer (me) got the short end of the stick. Not happy about that. Could have ruined a wonderful occasion .

The only true complaint we had was the bed was too hard. Wished the hot tub and pool would be open a little longer at night too but everything else was great!!!

Great stay

Our stay at Candlewood Suites Kansas City - Independence was excellent. It was the cleanest hotel we've been in, housekeeping did an excellent job. Checkin and checkout was easy and the staff were friendly. No complaints!

Free laundry, dual heads in the shower, full size refrigerator, excessable outlets and comfortable bed, wall thermostat, high toilet, pool table, hot tub and indoor pool.

The hotel overbooked and called us to let us know that they upgraded our room for no extra cost. Unfortunately at check in, the front desk messed up and gave us the wrong room number and we woke up an elderly couple that was in that room at 10:30pm when we tried to get into the room. Then we when we went back to the front desk, they said yeah we realized afterwards we gave you the wrong room key...probably should habe double checked that prior.

We didn’t end up staying here. After checking in the clerk at the front desk was very rude & we went into the room & found the room to be absolutely disgusting

Towels were short on day one but we were able to get some for the remainder of the days. Pool and hot tub worked well.
