it was a nice place, good for a over night, breakfast was very good, would of been better with its own parking, we enjoyed our stay staff friendly, ,and rooms clean,

Lovely stay at this B@B, hosts were really lovely and friendly, lovely clean room and bathroom, and always clean and tidy on our return after our day out. Nothing to much trouble if you needed anything and breakfast was lovely.

Staff are really nice and helpful, the guest house is full of nice character , my room was spotless, comfortable bed, with shower and WC all good , I slept really well , in the morning it was breakfast with a smile , parking in the street was ok, Pub about 200 meters away with good darts facilities and great beer , take away restaurants and other eating places all within easy reach by foot , I will visit and stay here often ,

I liked the character of the old property. The owners were lovely and gave me a warm welcome. I only planned a one night stay and was very happy with everything.

A brilliant, warm welcome from the owners and a lovely, comfortable night's sleep in this B&B which is really close to the town centre so really convenient. The breakfast was outstanding and served with a smile.

James and Katherine are friendly and attentive hosts and very happy to accommodate our request for a quiet room. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The location is convenient for the town centre, with on street parking outside (free after 4pm). We enjoyed our overnight stay at Amonite Lodge.

We were made to feel very welcomed! We really enjoyed our stay.

Had a lovely stay at the Ammonite guest house. The hosts were very attentive. The parking was either just outside or a space for a car around the back. Warning, it's a very small lane, wing mirrors in! 😂. The breakfast was very filling. Lots to choose from. Would definitely book again.

quirky little B&B in Chard centre. Very quiet town - only arrive din teh evening and left straight after breakfast - which wa svery very nice. James and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. Get there before 10pm if your'e travelling from afar - its' not 24hr check in . Ithink I had a single occupancy room - it was very clean and enough room - bathroom was compact!

James and Katherine were wonderful hosts. James helped us procure a parking spot right in front of the property. The room was at the top with nice beds, furniture, and decor. Our hosts provided delicious breakfast. Great stay while visiting family in nearby Crewkerne.

Overnight stay with our Grandson who is 4. Lively family room in the attic with its own bathroom. Very low ceilings throughout so tall people beware! Lovely warm welcome, comfortable beds, and delicious breakfast. Well worth staying here if visiting Chard.

I love old houses. It is so fun to imagine who lived there 200 years ago. This is an amazing place and I am sure I will be back.
