Pleasant hotel offering good value accommodation in clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Great location next to Olten railway station.

Great location. So close to the train station. We had some day trips planned so it was perfect we were able to get off the train and drop our luggage off. The staff was very helpful and let usdrop the bags off early. My room was updated clean and modern. I did not have an outlet in the bathroom so it was a bit of a challenge to blow dry and flat iron my hair :-) also a bit tricky the blinds Have a power switch but you can't see what they are doing from where the switch is located. We figured it out though. Very good value and walking distance to lots of shops. Only major drawback was the noise! Even with Windows closed there was a lot of screaming yelling and dogs barking. Probably bars around? Not sure but we were so tired we still fell asleep

As is the case with most hotels in Europe, the air conditioning does not operate at this time of year; they fail to take into account—at the very least—those tourists who are accustomed to using it regardless of the season. The room was very basic, despite the fact that we were informed we had received a free upgrade—I would hate to have seen the most basic room.

Second time I’ve stayed at the hotel as convenient for the train station. However no mention of a city tax payment required on arrival which normally you get informed about before booking any hotel.

The staffs at this hotel were really friendly and helpful! We got a free upgrade to a larger and spacious room. Really worth the price and can't complain too much. Would recommend!

Close to rail station which was convenient as we travel with the train every day. You can still hear some noise from the railways with the windows closed, but that was ok. The room did not have a fridge or a coffee maker.
