First time staying in the DR. This property and the experience has been without a doubt the best I’ve ever had. Everything from start to finish was 5 stars. Will definitely be returning.

The hotel went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and I. They upgraded our stay and provided a dinner on the beach for our anniversary.

Staff, room, pool, and beach were amazing. We had an excellent and relaxing vacation here!

Beautiful resort,

First I would like to say, Samuel thank you soo much for being accommodating and special for my birthday. This trip was not only fun, but relaxing ! From the restaurants, my personal favorite being Spice (Asian cuisine), the hospitality and the amenities made everything worth while. We can not wait to visit again. Be sure to book an ocean view room so that you can wake up to the ocean. Visit Lobster House for breakfast. Bingo by the pool or morning work out with their well equipped gym. Then relax by the pool and swim up bar. Bonus, live entertainment every night, my favorite was the female violinist.

Awesome place

We celebrated our anniversary at Excellence El Carmen and couldn't have asked for a more memorable experience. The resort is stunning, with lush grounds and immaculate service, but what truly elevated our stay was upgrading from a suite to a beach-front room. Waking up to the sound of the waves and direct beach access made it truly special. The all-inclusive amenities were top-notch—plenty of dining options, premium drinks, and endless activities. The staff went above and beyond to make our celebration feel personal and luxurious. Whether it was the romantic turndown service or the friendly smiles throughout the resort, we felt genuinely cared for. Highly recommend this resort for couples looking for romance, relaxation, and a bit of indulgence.

I loved the property and the hospitality.

I had a great stay at this property. There are plenty of dining options to include vegan options. The Chefs were willing to make vegan friendly meals for me upon request.

The rooms are very spacious, very quiet. They do require updating a little although they are still absolutely fine - they were better than the AI resort Hyatt Zilara. Spice restaurant was pants. French was super! Breakfast at Kitchen Table was awesome every morning

Excellence. El CARMEN is a great resort in every way. The staff are amazing and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable. The ocean area is gorgeous and beach service is amazing. We had great meals at all the restaurants we went to although we weren’t able to get to the mall in the time we were there. Good experience from the beginning to the end.

Excellence has become something close to a vacation home for us this was our 4th visit. We had an unfortunate airport/airline experience. Our return flight was cancelled and we were bused to a nearby so called 5 star resort for the night. It made me realize why some people don’t like “all inclusive” resorts! There was simply no comparison! The staff from Cloudy and Alejandra in the coffee shop, the entertainment team Brenda, Mini cooper. Even the ground keepers made us so welcomed. Great group of guests with a broad range of ages….. not just young, not just old. In short, I think it’s about the best choice in the Punta Cana area.

The beach was amazing!

I like the food and drink options. Its a very nice quiet resort. I enjoyed the activities and they really left you alone to enjoy. I tried to change the liquor type in my room and they couldnt help. Room was ok but not great
