Could not sleep because of noise from drying room, toilet flush was faulty, no night time reception to complain about noise. When i checked out at 05.00am (because of the noise) the man at reception actually laughed at my misfortune, How Rude!! I have been promised my money back and i am still waiting.

For baffling reasons all the three pin plugs are blocked except one by the kettle. There are USB ports but I have a CPAP machine that I need next to my bed. (also my chargers are USB-C - odd that they are moving to USB as everyone else is moving away) Frankly very bad design although they did lend me an industrial extension lead. Also shower head is fixed so does not clean hard to reach places! I do wonder who designs these rooms!

Comfortable stay overall! Spacious, clean room, comfortable queen size bed. All the necessities provided - kettle, sugar, tea bags, coffee sachets, good size of bath tub with body wash, hair dryer, steam iron and love the size of the telly. We went for the Red Letter days luxurious afternoon tea, we loved it! We will be back for sure.

The room was adequate but not as pictured online. There were lots of cosmetic defects, damaged paintwork, dirty marks, stains on carpets

We had a really nice stay at the Cedar Court Harrogate, staff were very good and the room was clean. Understand the rooms are getting updated so would look forward to coming again to see the refresh.

Do with refurb

Staff were lovely, grounds and room were nice and a good location. There were a few things that niggled us, the bathroom door was on a heavy automatic shutter like the main door to the room, which wasn’t practical and was loud. The shower was either scolding hot or freezing. The walls must have been thin as we could hear the people in the next room talking among other things until early hours. We didn’t get much sleep as a result. It’s a nice place and overall wasn’t a bad stay but I don’t think we’d stay again.

The room was clean, well designed and very comfortable. A soap dish would have been useful for the soap that was on offer to use. The heated towel rail is a necessity but not particularly well placed above the toilet (although I could not see another suitable place for it). The hotel was under renovation at the time. The builders were polite and considerate and any noise (not much during our stay) ceased at 5pm, as promised. We had a wonderful time and stayed an extra night on the strength of our fantastic room being available and friendly, helpful staff making it possible. Will definitely stay again.

Room freezing. No heating on. Eventually staff came to put it on. Then it was set at 27° no instructions how to adjust temperature. One bedside light with low light bulb and dark shade was connected to the main light in room so unable to have light on after turning off main light.

Good size room, friendly staff, plenty of parking, good location - easy to find and handy for both town and the football ground that I was going to! Knocked the mark down a bit because of the bed - not the most comfortable - and a bit of external noise, my room had a sloping roof outside that rain dripped on all night. But overall, not bad value and comfortable enough.

A relaxing stay with friendly staff , good food, a clean room and a nice comfy bed.

The whole hotel was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We would definitely recommend your hotel without hesitation. Will definitely book again when were up here again in the summer.

The hotel was lovely and so convenient for all my needs. The staff could not have been kinder or more accommodating especially Fabio in the bar who was able to cheerfully accommodate all our requests in professional yet friendly way which was so very much appreciated. So thank you
