Very good service

Perfect stay, staff friendly, room very clean, tidy with everything you need, bath could do with some fresh silicon around the edges. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and great choice, great location with lots of parking, will definitely stay again

Fantastic room just extra loo rools need as hadmt been replaced and lack of tea and milk had to ask reception. Dinkng was ok but restaurant was cold asl them them to out heatjng on . Starter not wkrth £8.50

Comfy room, excellent food and friendly staff. Only drawback was the lack of a good phone signal, which was fairly critical during this particular stay.

Stayed here many times before.but sadly the breakfasr was tasteless thr sausages bland. tomato overcooked. bacon undercooked.etc etc.wont stop here again

Spa and pool still out of action. Hotel is tired and dated but staff are doing a great job with what they have. Room is clean. Shower screen leaks badly leaving the floor soaking wet. Breakfast offers great choices. Evening meal, tasty but one 5mm slice of potato with meal is inadequate and an insult.

Very impressed issue with room when arrived but they uograded us and who room and service spot on, so much we have re booked a stay on a return from up north .

Everything was great

Staff Fantastic, polite, efficient. Food very good, both breakfast and evening restaurant. Parking good, wifi good

The room was much more spacious than anticipated. We were a little disappointed that the swimming pool is no longer available as those amenities drew us into the hotel. The hotel is beautiful inside and out and the stay itself was fantastic only the spa and pool amenities that prevented the stay from being a perfect stay.

The breakfast was average, but the dining area was excellent. Also plenty of easy parking right next to the hotel

Enjoyable stay

The room itself was good.the onsite however needs work. Area behind sink had brown residue/ staining. Corner above bath had a small patch of black mould and drill holes in tiles that hadn’t been filled. This however was only minor and didn’t spoil my enjoyment or require any immediate action. The staff were excellent, professional and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. I was disappointed that the pool was permanently closed. I chose this hotel for closeness to the person I visit, and because it has a pool. I’d probably still use it next time because it is convenient and good value for money, but I really did miss the pool… Over all a very enjoyable place that I have now stayed in 4 times. I
