Affordable and nicely landscaped

Cabinas was very spacious

The little cabin was air conditioned, had a fully stocked outside kitchen and the pool was lovely. Parking was under roof.

We were looking for a rental near family. The grounds are nice, pool clean, sweet patio area, nice people. The room was comfortable and the AC worked well. There was a nice outdoor kitchen/refrigerator. It’s simple but served our needs just fine. However there was no hot water which for us was ok because it was so hot.

This property is still recovering from Covid closures. The restaurant and bar are not open but it is less than a 5 minute drive to some of the best restaurants in Ojochal. However, The room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the pool was delightful. Overall, the property needs a little TLC but it was fine for the couple of days we were there.

Unlike many accommodations near the Pacific Ocean, Diquis De Sur has spacious grounds, which are beautifully landscaped, as well as fascinating flora and fauna. Both the owner and host were friendly and literally went the extra mile to meet our needs. We arrived with no car. So they drove us to local spots in the area.

The property still has a nice setting but the owner has let it degrade. Despite saying on your site that it offers a continental breakfast, it no longer does. The toilet seat was broken. The shower is slippery and dangerous with no hand rails. The cabin was not equipped with a stove or even a coffee maker and it took two days of asking to get one. The pool was dirty. The workers were on-existant.

We got in a little after 6 pm and the email say check in till 7 but they said check in ends at 6 And there was no one to let us in or no where to find how to get someone We were lucky someone staying there was outside and w a phone to call the reception

Nice gardens and pool

Great location, clean, friendly

This is a 2 star accommodation with a 3 star restaurant and pool area at 4 star prices. Staff were friendly and very basic ‘cabina’ was clean.

Diquis is a great place to stay with very friendly staff, beautiful grounds and good location. The breakfast is delicious. The best cabinas are away from where construction is happening on a new 2 bedroom condo.

The staff was very nice and customer oriented. The breakfast was great too. Very well located with an affordable price.

Would be great birding place! Grounds were beautiful. Staff wonderful. Breakfast delicious. Restaurant recommendations were excellent. They helped us out with much needed laundry. Very nice place.

Quiet and peaceful. Exceptional staff

Beautiful pool and grounds, charmingly rustic cabin with wifi and kitchen, and personable, helpful staff. Luis served us drinks poolside and pointed out howler monkeys and various fruits and plants. Wilmer traded language tips and steered us to pre-Columbian stone spheres and museum. Included breakfast was lovely and decorated with flowers. We had a great meal just down the road at Exotica. Guests: Pack an extension cord and/or headlamp for better vision at night. Staff: Foreign guests are sure to expect prompt daily removal of used TP. We added a night to our stay after the first, and we will return to further explore the area.
