Lovely welcome and a very clean spacious room with a nice sea view as requested. Dinner in the restaurant was very nice, everything food wise around that area is a little on the pricey side but it was good. The only let down was a minor one and that was because there wasn't any whisky in the Terrace Bar....and I would have liked a nice whisky or two after dinner. The pub adjoining it is good but very expensive I think.

limited choice with fruit and bread… we weren’t told we had to do our own toast. staff had ‘too many tickets’ which is why we had to wait for service. table not ready and we had to wait for it to be laid despite telling reception we were having breakfast each morning.. staff didn’t greet us .. too busy to acknowledge us as guests.

The croissants were not available and the pastries were not fresh. Coffee was insipid. The bar was not always staffed during opening times.

Great staff and amazinglocation. Hotel itself a little dated and tired in places. Disappointed that there was no fridge or safe in the room.

The staff made our stay that bit more special so thanks go to Jenny in Housekeeping and Tracey on Reception.

Always good, room clean and what’s expected starting to look a bit dated but good value for money. Breakfast a 10/10 food hot and tasty and fresh 👍

The stay at the Le Strange Arms was excellent from when we booked in to when we left. The room was clean and supplied with biscuits and fresh milk in a bottle, made a change from U H T in plastic. The breakfast was very good set us up for the day. The only complaint was the shower it was very hot I could not turn it down to a comfortable temperature.

Rooms were warm beautifully appointed. Bright lighting and soft fluffy towels. Very helpful friendly staff. Tonnes of parking.

Staff excellent as ever. Hotel due for renovation later this year and cosmetically is needed in some areas. Excellent location, good areas to relax in

There’s nothing wrong but the hotel could be amazing. It’s very dated and has a an old fashioned atmosphere It could be so much more with some imagination and become a thriving centre fo old hunstanton.

Not enough staff , one pool person trying to cover restaurant and bar but somehow remained calm , place was like gods waiting room no atmosphere at all

We had a sea view room which was very pleasant. It was spacious and everything worked satisfactorily. Perhaps the shower was a little bit on the high side but, understandably, this is an old building and, no doubt, will be updated in due course! Our only gripe was that on the Monday night of our stay we had dinner in the hotel restaurant - the menu was very limited but we assumed that what was on offer would be of good quality as befitting the price of the meal. It was ghastly! We did comment but with little meaningful response. At check out we made the point again but the hotel actually added a service charge. Deplorable.

Very friendly staff and a lovely relaxing atmosphere

This hotel is due to close for refurbishment and it’s long overdue! The staff were fantastic but the room was tired, with wall paper coming away in places and very draughty windows. Dispite having the radiator on full it was still chilly in our room. Breakfast on the first morning disappointing, the bacon was just about cooked and fatty whilst the egg was “snotty”. The second morning was totally different and cooked beautifully. I’m assuming different chefs? I look forward to returning once the upgrade has been completed as long as the prices don’t rocket!

lovely hotel in need of a little tlc but that is being addressed for refurb soon. room had everything you could need and very comfy bed. Very efficient friendly polite staff. excellent location for the beach and great walks. great choices at breakfast. Limited dinner menu so didn't partake. had one meal at the Mariners next door but it wasnt great.
