The Hotel Allegory is a gem if you are looking for unique lodging inside the Old City of Rhodes. From the moment we arrived we felt Rhodian hospitality and warmth. The staff especially Konstantina went out of their way to be helpful and kind. From assisting us with our luggage on the cobbled roads of Rhodes (you can't drive into the old city but the hotel will help you plan arrival and departure), to the special Rhodian sesame treat and cold prosecco that awaited us when we arrived, to the delicious included Greek breakfast, you feel so cared for. The rooms are unique and beautiful. I booked the last room I could find that had space for our daughter to stay with us and we lucked out with a hammam steam shower and deep oaking tub I was not expecting...but after a month long trip of exploring dusty ruins and lots of travel logistics, we sure made use of it! :) The bed was also super comfortable with high end linens. They have thought of all those little details that set a hotel stay apart. The Allegory is located in a quieter, more residential end of the Old City as well which made for good sleeping. Believe me, as we were wandering around town during the World Cup and hearing all the partiers, I was VERY glad we weren't staying closer to that area where the nightlife is crazy. You're a close walk to the action but not right in it. I highly recommend Allegory Hotel and send our thanks to Konstantina and her team for an unforgettable stay in Rhodes.

Very welcoming from the outset. The hotel is located inside the walls of the old town and you cannot drive up to the door of hotel. Parking is available outside of the old town walls. The hotel contacted me to ask when i was arriving and scheduled staff to meet me at my car in a golf cart for a short ride to the hotel with our luggage. Each morning the breakfast was light and healthy, but hearty in my opinion. Hotel staff was eager to make it right for all of us. The opportunity to stay inside the old town of Rhodes is a unique an awesome experience, and the Allegory simply made our stay more enjoyable.

Beautiful property located inside the Old Town, combines the charm of the old medival building with contemporary amenities. Stuff was super helpful in arranging our transfers, restaurant reservations, advice etc. Made us early breakfast due to our early departure. Couldnt be happier with them.

They did an excellent job. Gourmet breakfast on the patio right outside our room. When we had a request, they did everything they could to help us. It is located inside the old walled city. Lots of history and things to see. They made our stay very memorable.

The hotel was the perfect location in old Rhodes Town. The included breakfast together with the hospitality of the hotel manager made it a wonderful experience.

Seriously, one of the most amazing properties and staff! I would recommend this for anyone wanting a unique and cool experience in old Rhodes. Even though you can’t drive a vehicle into old Rhodes, they will come get you on a golf cart as well as your luggage, which makes it extremely convenient. As well, staff will bend over backwards to ensure you have a wonderful experience.

We loved our stay at the Allegory Boutique Hotel! Konstantina was a wonderful host. She made a delicious breakfast for us every morning which we ate outside on the patio. We had a private hot tub which was great to relax in after exploring the maze of the Old Town of Rhodes. We really enjoyed our stay!

Loved it! The staff were great, attentive and helpful. The location is the opposite end of the old town from the cruise pier, so it's much quieter, but still with great shops and restaurants. Room and amenities were very good. I also very much appreciated Georgette and Roberta, the tortoiseshell and tabby cats that call the hotel courtyard home.

We got great service even before we arrived- the team arranged a transfer from the airport and collected us from outside the old town walls in their golf cart. Everything was seamless. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed, a well stocked mini bar and great air conditioning. Konstantina and the whole team really looked after us well during our whole stay- breakfast in the courtyard was really good every day, some days we were treated to cake from a local bakery. It was more like staying with family than a hotel and we would definitely stay there on any future trips to the area.

The manager Constantina was delightful along w her staff. The room was very accommodating. The bed and pillows very comfortable, free water and met all of our needs. A suggestion to improve the lighting in the room, a make-up mirror.

Absolutely lovely, from the point of booking and Konstantina checking in to make sure I had a safe collection from the port to the hotel. The hotel was full of character and a perfect location for exploring on foot. Breakfast was served outside my room on the balcony and ready for when I woke up. It’s was a real joy and pleasure to stay there and the added extra of being treated so kindly meant so much. Looking forward to returning..

Excellent hotel at the heart of Rhodes Old Town. The breakfast was excellent and the service even better. There is a late charge for flights arriving past a certain time, which is €40 however they do share this on their website. The staff couldn’t have been lovelier or more helpful. Quiet hotel too - we never heard any of the other guests.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with very friendly staff and the most amazing breakfast. The location was excellent for all the major sites within the old town. My only complaint is that it was only after we booked our stay that a surcharge appeared for our late arrival and, when we were checking out, only then were we told we had to pay in cash. A visit to an ATM meant we missed our planned transport to Lindos. This info needs to be clearly stated.

Beautifully appointed, restored heritage building. Staff are warm and very helpful. Perfect stay in the Old Town of Rhodes. Very good value for money.
