The hotel had fantastic views & the hotel had some nice character features but in certain areas it did need some modernisation.

Not for the elderly unless you get one of the ground floor rooms.

I would recommend the webbington hotel 100% the only thing I would say is you have to remember there is no lifts so if you have a disability book the ground floor if possible the staff are brilliant & will help you with anything you need they made my little dog so welcome the reception staff are friendly & polite one member of staff Gino could not do enough to help he is a great member of the staff there all in all the Webbington Spa is an ideal place to stay to relax or sight seeing the views are breathtaking

Stayed on a Saturday evening and arrived before check in time. A wedding was in progress and although we had been warned that might happen we felt as if the wedding had taken over the whole of the ground floor and there was no where really for us to sit for a drink without feeling we were gate crashing the wedding. When we checked in the staff were lovely. They explained all the facilities and booked a time for swimming for us and sorted a small issue with the room immediately. We booked a time for dinner in the restaurant for later in the evening. After we unpacked we had a wonderfully relaxing swim/ sauna/ steam. Again the staff were lovely, there were towels provided and the offer of more if we required. The health suite facilities were very clean and the gym was extensive. Dinner was good and the menu had lots of options. Our room was good, clean and spacious and as it was on the third floor and we heard nothing from the party downstairs and even though the hotel is very near the M5 we didn’t hear any traffic noise so we slept very well.

Lovely stay, delightful old building. Clean comfortable room Staff all welcoming and friendly. Came with a friend however just the type of place you could come on your own for a few days and feel comfortable in your own space.

Clean room. The pool can be booked for swimming or family sessions, unusual setup but works well. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed here several times but only this time did I realise the motorway was so close, as it was light when I was leaving. The soundproofing is very good in the hotel.

I’d like to start off by saying the staff here, especially the manager and receptionist are exceptional, I cannot fault them in anyway, they went above and beyond to look after me, they get five stars. The down side is the hotel is very dated, it doesn’t look like the pictures, the gym is tired, the rooms and bathrooms especially and I didn’t have a good experience with the food. The manager sorted that though. My original room also was very damp smelling, but that was also resolved and I was able to move rooms. Unfortunately for me this wasn’t the relaxing spa evening I envisioned as a stopping point to my destination. I wouldn’t recommend and I won’t stay again. Best Western need to invest in this property, it isn’t the staffs fault, you have a very good team here and is a credit to your business, but you need to put money into the property and bring it up to date.

Room was good value, but the noise from room above was relentless, you could hear people constantly walking about, very creaky floors. Food in restaurant was pricey and not the best. Ok for a 1 night stop

Was okay. The building was archaic and awkward but comfortable enough. Made use of the steam room and also ate supper, both of which were decent experiences. Not sure how much id recommend it but I suppose at the price we paid, it was a reasonable experience.

Had a ground floor court yard room which had a lovely courtyard garden of its own. The room was nice and clean with a well kept bathroom.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The location of room 4 was quiet, with plenty of space with a quirky look to it. It was great for us. The variety of food wasn’t particularly interesting

The hotel is a lovely old building, this does mean its a bit higgledy piggledy but it's still lovely. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. There was a breakfast buffet with hot and cold food available. The restaurant will cook fresh omelettes, poached eggs & vegetarian sausages on request. The standard room itself was clean with towels, toiletries, with tea & coffee facilities available. There is a steam and sauna room available for guests to use for free & they supply the towel. There's also a lovely pool. All this is available to book on the Webbington Hotel website along with any spa treatments which do incur an extra charge but are well worth it. We had a really lovely weekend made all the better by the helpful and courteous staff. We would highly recommend

Disgusting. Fell through hole in the floor under the carpet on arrival. Room was filthy and mould ridden. In desperate need of refurb. Not how it looked on website. Within an hour of arriving had asked for refund and booked elsewhere.
