This is a beautiful, quiet and clean property. It’s close to all the wineries, Stellenbosch and Cape Town. Hans and his wife are incredibly kind and welcoming as well.

A quiet setting with friendly staff and dogs.

Convenient for Stellenbosch, simple self catering cottages. Nice pool. But, the first night we were eaten by mosquitoes. No spray. WC directly off kitchen & food area, no basin. Not very clean in places. Generator only to pump water so difficult when no power.

More than I expected. Very pleasant stay

The owner was kind. However Expedia mis sold us the room. What they said was an apartment but in fact a bedroom with bathroom plus fridge and kettle. This is not what we wanted. The property has a nice pool area

Best place I've ever stayed at! Hans and his staff made me feel like I was home, not at a hotel. The room, amenities, food, service, etc exceeded expectations, and we didn't want to leave! Hans became my German grandfather and I hope to come back again one day. Thanks Hans!

Kleinbosch Lodge is ideally situated for business in and around Stellenbosch. The location avoids most of the traffic congestion on the R44. Hans is an excellent host who takes a personal interest in each and every guest. The staff are friendly and efficient and the dogs are delightful. Fantastic pool for those days when the heat in the Boland gets too much. Breakfast is something to look forward to: a fantastic selection of fresh fruit and berries, cheese, bread, cold meat, etc. etc.

We stayed with our two years old daughter. The staff is very pleasant the location is great. We really enjoyed our stay. I wish they had air conditioning but again most places we stayed in South Africa don't have it. The owner is very nice and my daughter loved their two dogs. Very pleasant place to stay.

Het domein was mooi .Ligging goed . Over het verblijf geen negatieve dingen alleen het bed …veel ongelijkheden ..ge sliep op bulten … hebben op de matras zaken gelegd om de resorts of wat het ook was niet te voelen .

Great breakfast. Very friendly and personal host who made us feel very welcome and at home. Amazing vineyards and restaurants around. Stayed for 2 nights. Kids enjoyed the pool even if it was a bit cold. Personal atmosphere and price worthy. Thanks a lot!

Hans, ein deutscher Auswanderer, gibt sich sehr viel Mühe und hat immer einen lustigen Spruch auf Lager. Super Unterkunft, sehr komfortabel und sauber, kleiner Pool im Innenhof. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Tipp: nutzen Sie Uber um von Weingut zu Weingut zu kommen, extrem günstig und gut verfügbar. Mietwagen lieber stehen lassen, wenn man Wein trinken möchte.

Nice, big room with all I needed - and more. The lodge is located just south of Stellenbosch, close to a highway, but in a large, quiet garden. The owner, Hans, was very welcoming and added a personal touch to the stay. During the nice, outdoor breakfast he introduced the different international and national guests to each other. I hope to come back another time.
