⭐️ 4/5 almost perfect stay Hotel - Great location away from the crowd, yet everything was walkable. Our room was clean,comfortable and spacious. Housekeepers Evelin and Darianni did a great job. Breakfast- was included in our stay the food was good not just continental. Staff Aileen was excellent remembered our names and made us feel welcome every morning. Wait staff Wendy was great too friendly and helpful. Front Desk Clerks - some are friendly some just pretend to be busy when you walk pass them no greeting or anything. Bellman Arnau is still in training but he was the friendliest always pleasant even gave us excellent recommendations. The communication between front desk and housekeeping needs work. When we requested something front desk will say will let housekeeping know but according to housekeeping nobody informed them. We still recommend this hotel

The pillows are the worst...incredibly flat...had a crook in my neck trying to get comfortable....the housekeeping staff left my door unlocked with the deadbolt holding it open and scared us so bad when we came back to our room...I went to the front desk...and they said ok...

Our stay at Ohla Eixample was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome. I mentioned in passing that it was our wedding anniversary, and when we entered our room we were greeted with rose petals on the bed, a bottle of cava, and a lovely handwritten note, such a thoughtful and personal touch. We stayed for four nights and loved every minute. The rooftop pool was a highlight, with delicious cocktails and stunning views of the Sagrada Familia, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Barcelona. On our final day, we were due to travel to Valencia to visit family, but our train was fully booked, so we unexpectedly had an extra day in the city. The staff were incredibly gracious, offering to reopen our room, and happily stored our luggage for us. The concierge gave fantastic recommendations, including lunch at the opera house, which turned out to be a wonderful experience. The service, attention to detail, and genuine warmth of the team made this a truly special stay. We would highly recommend Ohla Eixample and will definitely return.

Our stay started out with very helpful bellman and front counter/ concierge person. Once we got to the jr suite room things started to decline. The room and the hotel's corridors were very dark. The suite had no walls dividing the bathroom from the rest of the suite but did have a very small toilet room.The entire suite was on a master control so when we turned off the electric at night it was very dark and hard to see to move around. The shower was very slippery with no grab bars as the floor was concrete.Very dangerous for seniors. The suite had a safe but we were unable to open. When staff came up to open he laughed and said the lid was simply very heavy.He left and came back with a piece of rope which he tied to a nob on the lid. This allowed leverage so we could access the safe. The first day when we returned from sightseeing at 5 pm,the room was in the process of bey made up. The next day when we returned at 6:30 pm the room still hadn't been made up. We called the front desk and had to arrange a tme when housekeeping could make up the room while at dinner.Also, housekeeping never removed or replaced glassware from the suite.We really expected more from such a highly rated hotel. The breakfast provided was good with a wide variety of food options.We were very disappointed and would not choose this hotel when we return to Barcelona.

Very nice hotel but rather noisy neighborhood. A man screaming in the street woke me up twice during the night. Also the shower was lukewarm. Everything else was very nice and the pool is amazing. Gracias!

Cllean and friendly hotel .

While we appreciate the location and appearance of the hotel, it does not seem to meet our expectation as a five star hotel. Staffs are friendly, but improvement in training to be prompt and proactively in providing service. The shower smelled bad, urine like smell. A hit disappointed to be honest.

This hotel was amazing. The room was big, clean and amazing. They provided robes, slippers, water, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap and huge towels. The rood top pool was amazing as well as the view! The breakfast buffet was absolutley amazing..so fresh and so many choices. When we go back to Barcelona we will def stay here again!

Amazing stay . Staff are very friendly and try their utmost best to help guests with any requests! The location is perfect to all major tourist spots and restaurants. The shower pressure was excellent ! Beware though the toilet is hidden within a concealed door in the guest room and has a swing arm to open and close it , which was really inconvenient !!!! I still can not understand why the toilet was designed the way it was and to me it felt very claustrophobic . There is no lock on the toilet door and neither can leave the toilet door open for any circulation . Very weird !!!

Very friendly and helpful hotel. We arrived early morning and although our room was not ready, reception took care of our luggage and suggested how we might spend our time until it was, and they would call us if it was ready early, which they did. Room was lovely (Junior Suite), clean with nice details and very quiet. Excellent shower and plenty of space. A bottle of wine and chocolates were brought to the room later in the day and the staff were very keen to help with anything. Buffet breakfast included was varied and plentiful. They were very efficient at arranging an early morning checkout and taxi to the airport on a day when lots of roads were closed due to a Patron Saint holiday, events and marathon across the city. Took all the stress out for us. Would happily stay again.
