Great location, good service, clean rooms, amazing rooftop, friendly staff.

Stay in this Hotel! Clean rooms, very helpful and professional front desk staff, housekeeping, restaurant! The breakfast is amazing! Fresh fruits tropical fruits, great selections, it’s a brunch ! We’ve got ocean view and it was the BEST . Just book this Hotel !!

My room had a very strange and unpleasant small. The management said that it came from the sea, but the smell was not present in any other area of the hotel. Relative to my many stays in other Leme hotels, I would rank this the lowest for service and quality of breakfast. It was adequate if there are no other options.

Good size room, excellent condition and great view over the entire Leme and Copacabana beaches. Friendly staff.

Perfect place for a beach holiday

This was the most beautiful view and hotel in rio!!! The rooms are so clean the breakfast buffet is really good and the roof top view is amazing! We were right across the street from the beach and the beautiful rio view you can see Christ from the boardwalk.

Everyday room cleaning was good but room needed a grand spring cleaning in general. Staff is very nice and trying to help but only few speak English. Breakfast was really good. Beach is literally across the street. Pool on the roof is nothing to talk about but terrace itself is very nice. Overall a pleasant experience.

The stay was okay overall, but there were a few issues. The rooftop pool looked much better in the photos than in reality. Check-in was also poorly handled — we arrived at 12pm and were told after 2pm multiple times that the room would be ready in “5 minutes”, but we didn’t receive our room card until 3:30pm. They offered a slightly late check-out to make up for it, but since our flight was at 6am it wasn’t useful. The bathroom also felt quite outdated, and the shower frequently flooded the bathroom floor, which was inconvenient. Overall, not a terrible stay, but definitely room for improvement.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Leme from February 20, 2026 to February 28, 2026. The hotel was absolutely spotless throughout my entire stay, which made me feel comfortable and relaxed right away. The breakfast bar was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. It was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore Rio. The staff truly made the experience exceptional. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. They were very informative about local attractions, offered convenient tour options, and even exchanged my money for reals, which made everything so much easier. The location is another big plus — within walking distance to many restaurants and local markets, making it easy to experience the neighborhood and enjoy authentic local spots. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Leme for anyone visiting Rio. Clean, welcoming, well-located, and supported by a fantastic team — I would definitely stay there again!

Just 🛏️ is uncomfortable, other things are good

First with the check in: the was no VIP access for Expedia platinum members, which I didn’t get any upgrade despite there was availability. That was my main reason to choose this specific hotel. I was suppose to get 20% discount on one time dining, but the hotel didn’t know anything about that. Second: Going in the room, there was no kettle, so I couldn’t boil water to make baby Formula for my 1 month old daughter. Third: Going in and out the hotel for 3 Days, I didn’t get any greeting, not even once. Actually I was the one to greet them, but they don’t answer anyway.

Room was spotless, however they do charge for the drinks in the fridge so just be mindful. It is very cheap anyways so not a big deal. Staff on the rooftop was so lovely, cocktails were amazing also and the view is amazing. Breakfast was a decent selection not amazing but average( it is what you would expected to get for a hotel buffet). Overall very great stay.

Great location, clean rooms, great staff.

This is great location on the beach boulevard and the stay was most pleasant. The place was clean and comfortable and the included breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of food choices. The room on the beach-facing side of the building had a great view of the beach as did the roof top bar. There are lots of beach activities near by and tour operators offer hotel pickups/drop-offs. The area is very safe with lots of police and security patrols on the beach boulevard and lots of people enjoying activities on the beach. The main tourist spots are a bit farther away though but there is a taxi stand right outside of the hotel and Uber is readily available. A particularly nice touch was the free juice and coffee provided from the lobby coffee bar for a very early morning departure even before the coffee bar was open.

Air Condioning very noisy . Breakfast OK but bread not good.

We travel very often outside USA and we can say this is one of the best staffs we have encounter, friendly, helpful they made reservations for us help us with recommendations about money exchange, tours, places to visit and so may other thing. I want to say Elizabeth was amazing, staying at the Arena Leme made our vacation so much more enjoyable! Our friends stay a block from here and they didn’t get any help or anything from a hotel much bigger than this, 100% recommended we will be back for sure!

The stay overall was great. The staff not all of them were friendly but most of them try to make you feel like home. Room was beautiful with ocean views and super clean. Breakfast is good but very limited options, also they do not give water out of courtesy, so I recommend to buy some in a supermarket nearby which is 24/7, super convenience. They have a rooftop with beautiful views, nice pool and a bar. Good option to take ocean front and not too expensive as Copacabana or Ipanema.
