We were pretty disappointed with the service at the Bistro. It took far too long to get our breakfast, the kitchen seemed unable to meet the requests of the guests in an efficient manner & were running out of key ingredients. We asked for brown bread which they were out of, then it was sausage & bacon, then they couldn't find the decaf coffee, they were out of fruit, etc., etc. The key pads to the room would work one minute then not the next minute.

Heritage buildings, just beautiful. The rooms are large size, ours had a king bed. Friendly staff, breakfast included, free parking is a bonus. We will definitely stay there again.

Clean good food close to downtown

The Bistro was excellent with excellent staff, the desk staff were professional. Make sure to ask for the coupons for breakfast and 15% off coupons for meals at the restaurant, we used them for 2 dinners. We stayed for 3 nights, decor in room was lovely, jacuzzi was big but the jets were weak and noisy. A cleaning staff never came near our room the whole time we were there. I saw 2 cleaning ladies in the hallway, june 16, just after 5pm, I asked them if they were going to do our room and they said no. I politely asked for some towels which was on their cart infront of them but they said I had to go to the front desk for them. I went to front desk and explained to them and they were happy to oblige and brought us towels and coffee, sugar for the room. Hotel looked fancy but lacks some details, the cleaning staff is probably the most unhelpful I have ever experienced.

I liked the eager, pleasing staff. The room was nicely appointed as was the bathroom. The mattress was terrible, very saggy to the middle. The wifi signal however was worse. Complained almost every day i was there, they kept saying they were working on it, but it never got better. If you need good reliable wifi, dont stay here. Used my phone as a Hotspot and likely incurred heavy data costs. The restaurant was good WHEN they were staffed. Only had 1 person first thing in morning to both cook and serve tables. Good location!

Rooms were clean, staff were as helpful as could be, TVs were not working, and likely hadn’t for some time. Staff tried to help to no avail. Parking was good, complimentary breakfast was very tasty.

Quiet with large rooms; delicious breakfasts; fabulous location

Nice breakfast and clean rooms. A bit of a walk from the downtown if you’re planning a late night in George Street.

The rooms at Thai cute little hotel were large, clean and full of character. The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful, service I have not seen in a long time. And it was every single one of them! The restaurant onsite was often out of items, which is my only complaint. But overall would absolutely recommend and stay here again.
