Not having any control of the HVAC unit, was a major issue that couldn’t, or wouldn’t, be fixed. When we arrived, the room was very hot. The staff said that they could not switch to cooling mode until “winter was over” (this was at the end of March). Fortunately most of the days were cloudy so radiant heat from the sunshine didn’t heat up our room. But don’t tell that you can’t control the HVAC unit when I know that you can. Don’t let the customer adapt to your business practices, accommodate them as much as possible.
