Lovely quiet location and super helpful host. Our room was a bit noisy and lacking in privacy but otherwise fine

A beautiful location with a magic view, and lots of birds and larger animals. Not for everyone, though, as many will miss their TV and air conditioner. But for the nature lover, a great place to unwind and relax.

Lives up to the name- a very tranquil spot. Retreat-like guesthouse with beautiful gardens, 2x river views, comfortable and quiet interior. Furnishings organic and earthy, very tasteful. Enjoyed my stay some much I booked another night. Will return!!

Amazing views and peaceful surroundings. The room was comfortable and clean and had access to a shared space which had a functional kitchen and living space.

Peace and quiet, at one with nature. Animals abound! A unique share-house facility with full kitchen ammenities … plus home-grown veggies! I suspect fresh fish (but never cast a line). The point is … the point is … The Point Is Tranquil.

Tranquility Point lived up to its name. We had a lovely stay. Our room (Oak) was great. We were on our own the first night so we had everything to ourselves. The next night there was another guest. We had a relaxing night around the fire. Ben is a great host who made us feel very comfortable and welcome. He even gave us some of the fresh produce from the property. I did the Bikram Yoga class with Ben in the morning.

Beautiful location at tip of small point. Looks over water. Share facilities. We were able to use the kitchen to cook our dinner - very good kitchen that was well equipped. Host is delightful & very helpful. He lit a fire for us as the day had been cold & drizzley. Lounge & dining areas very comfortable. Would recommend this place & we would definitely stay again.

deep bay is gorgeous. tranquil point is more of a home stay than a hotel. the rooms are basic, the house is basic and the real magic is in the local area. the huon valley is gorgeous and if you're willing to give up a few luxuries a night or two might be the answer you're looking for. (p.s., the host is super helpful)

Good B&B for those wanting to self cater. Comfortable bed for a good nights sleep. Fabulous fire place in the lounge that heats the house and plenty of vantage spots to enjoy Port Cygnet.
