Overall, we had a great stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, while the bathroom was well maintained with excellent water pressure. The only downside was the service. Most of the staff, especially at the front desk and in the breakfast area, didn’t seem particularly welcoming. It was the first time I’ve checked into a hotel without being greeted with a smile or a warm welcome. Even during breakfast, the seating arrangements were handled rather mechanically, with some staff appearing quite moody. That said, our experience ended on a positive note. On our 6th or last day, a staff member wished us goodbye with a genuine smile and a warm “Have a nice day,” which left a much better final impression.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Taipei. The location is excellent—you can easily walk to a nearby temple and it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Ximending night market, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast is pretty good, with enough variety to start the day well. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, and we would definitely stay here again.

Best hotel in the near Ximending night market, NTU, walking and experiencing plenty of desirable amenities in hotel available. Enjoyed the gym with panaramic views of Taipei from the top floor. Exceptional quality food buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh baked bakery items, steak house, and Tahi Thai for candies, drinks and Thai food options. Hotel staff provides exceptional customer service. Massages and spa available and cute bath balms with characters inside. This hotel is truly an experience. Loves using " hello Ai" to close curtains and turn off lights at bed time and I. The a.m. Well done.

My less-than-24-hour stay was a relentless, frustrating experience that felt like a complete scam from start to finish. This establishment isn't about hospitality; it's a greedy operation designed to rip off guests at every possible turn. I arrived at 1:50pm and was told to come back at 2:30pm. I then watched another group of Korean passengers check in immediately. When I asked for the same courtesy due to an urgent online meeting, I was slapped with a sudden NT$800 'fee', miraculously, a ready-to-check-in room "appeared" the second I agreed to pay. The rip-off attempts didn't stop. Upon departure, the concierge tried to charge me a fixed, inflated price for an airport taxi, a price almost 50% higher than a normal taxi fare, I know this is a wrong price as a frequent business traveler to Taipei. I challenged them and called my own taxi. This is their standard playbook: lie and overcharge, hoping you won't notice. As if the financial scams weren't enough, constant mechanical noises in the hallway between midnight and 1am made sleep impossible. The hotel simply doesn't care about your rest. This place is pure not a very ideal place to stay. They see guests not as customers to serve, but as wallets to exploit. Every interaction is a potential trap. Save your money and your sanity. Stay anywhere else.

Second visit after my first in 2019. Still my favorite hotel in Taipei for what you pay for. Not only a great location for getting around town but subway or bus, but great service (use their concierge to schedule or get Around town) and overall cute and friendly decor and theme. Their breakfast buffet is good, great for value, and you must get their salads and fruits, fresh and rare to get. Also rooms are nice and comfy and not too small, though they need to update their AI that does the room control. Their gym has a great view but a bit hard to get to, also needs to update their weight lifting equipment.
