Good, cheap even when booking the night before (This was during the end of April so maybe it's different at other times of the year) perfectly serviceable and a not too long of a walk from the centre and train station

Great value for money if you need a simple overnight stay. No fuss, clean, simple, warm, comfortable. Can't beat it if need to book at short notice.

I went for the self catering platinum room. Once you get over you literally have nothing in the room other than a bed, no toilet paper no bin etc Once you get kitted up with everything you need from the Asda across the street, I honestly couldn’t complain. Don’t be put off about the ‘Uni’ side of things. If you’re a ‘Professional’ person. Your separated into a different block for workers and can’t actually hear any of the riff raff from where your staying. For the price you pay, you honestly can’t go wrong.

Stayed here on Friday night. Had relatively low expectations as it was uni dorms but was actually quite impressed. Very clean rooms, easy to get to the station (we were seeing a gig in Cardiff) and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were very basic but again, were clean. I did miss when booking that parking is not on site so we did have to go to the shopping centre to park. One thing I would say is that there was no hand soap in the room nor glasses - these would have been very welcomed!

It’s a very convenient solution for accommodation. Very clean in the room and also the kitchen which is very big. Use the parking area of ASDA which is only 5 min walking. The staff was also friendly. If you visit Cardiff, %100 recommend this place. Suitable for couples as well. No issue.
