Hotel is a little tired and need modernising with a refurb, but for the price I think it was a reasonable stay for one night, very close to the town centre, free parking and use of a swimming pool is a bonus.

It was a good location but the hotel needs some mild TLC. The staff was accommodating but the restaurant staff not so much. I wouldn’t tell anyone to not stay here but to be prepared. I thought as a Hilton chain it would be better maintained

Room was too hot! Tried to make room cooler but the fan did not work well.

Thank you for such a lovely and welcoming stay. We felt really looked after and the centre was very close by. We didn't have breakfast but the parking was very convenient. The staff did their best to assist with any questions that we had. The room was clean and perfect for the needs of our stay. We used the pool and steam room too. Unfortunately, there was no hot tub available or the usual cookies but thank you and we would definitely stay again.

Rooms were crusty and stains everywhere, peeling paint off the walls, but at least it smelled good! Probably wouldn’t stay here again though.

Less than average Hilton property, breakfast was marginal.

The road noise was too loud.

Left a poor review about the check in process and upon check out I got questioned about it on check out. It just is not a Hilton level of customer service… the conditioner bottle was empty, no hand soap, a smoking patio that was locked. It’s a decent place, just not what I expected. Plus the noise from the road was pretty intense (and I live in a loud city)

We couldn’t

I booked a stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sighisoara - Cavaler through Expedia. Upon arrival, the receptionist clearly told us that we did not have a reservation and that the hotel was fully booked. Showing her the booking confirmation from Expedia did not change her position. After some discussion with the receptionist — who was not helpful at all — we were told to contact Expedia ourselves to resolve the issue and find another place to stay for the night. We ended up calling Expedia five times, navigating endless automated menus before finally reaching a real person. In the end, we had to find a new place to stay late at night on our own. Although I received a refund after four days, I would never book with Expedia again. It cost me a lot of time and energy to fix their mistake.

The room was Ok. The water in the pool was quite cold. Te food was not great and the service in restaurant must be improved.

The staff just don’t seem bothered or professional, the room was dated but happy overall, just very dusty above picture frames etc, the breakfast was terrible? For a hotel like this, no hot buffet present, burnt croissants, hardly any choice? I’ve had two star hotels with better breakfast, the Hilton Hampton in Cluj breakfast was amazing how can two hotels be so different in the same chain, it really was so poor.

The hotel has surprisingly slow internet in the rooms, and the level of room heat seems to be controlled by the front desk. They have the heat at 28 degrees. You have to open a window if you want to cool down and get up in the night to close the window, then repeat the process if necessary. These are fixable technical problems; I hope they get to them soon.

Easy to park. Clean room. Decent breakfast.

Rooms are filthy with multiple stains, no sound proofing so you will not sleep well.

I am shocked and deeply disappointed with my stay at this Hilton. I slipped and fell in the shower because of a serious maintenance issue, and when I reported it, nothing was done for two days. I fell in a Foosh manner hurt my wrist, low-back, and my feet hit the upper bathroom sink. Two days of being ignored after getting hurt in their hotel room! The lack of concern for guest safety and well-being is appalling. I expected care and responsibility, but instead I was treated like my safety didn’t matter. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in Hilton, and I would never recommend this property to anyone. I would like a refund for this property, please advise on the next step.

The hotel is very clean and conveniently located near the old citadel. I especially appreciated the spa area, which includes a sauna and steam room—both complimentary with your stay. The room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s rest. My only minor complaint would be the TV channel selection; it would be nice to have Digi channels available for watching the games. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
