Good base for exploring Speyer

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Löwengarten, it exceeded our expectations. We were upgraded to one of their apartment rooms and it was really nice. It has a huge spa bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette including a Nespresso machine. The room was waiting for us with a complimentary sparkling wine cooling in a bucket. Staff were super friendly.

The room was really a 2 person bedroom where the hotel had added 2 rollout beds into the room to sell it as a 3 person bedroom. The mattresses definitely need an upgrade and the rollout bed was extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was nice but very slow in refilling. I definitely enjoyed the variety of cheese and bread on the menu. However if you like eggs, the boiled eggs were had the worst smell I had ever seen on an egg! Best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s super close to the center of the city with lots of options for shops and restaurants. The staff were very nice and friendly. I would not rate this hotel more than a 3 star.

It was a short stay but staff was friendly and the room was very nice.

Parking wasn't always available, but found ones close by when necessary. Overall I great experience and highly recommend!!

Very well placed for visiting Speyer. Nice welcome drink in the room. Very clean and spacious room.

Clean Hotel with elevated prices… but lack of comfort. - Lack of parking space outside the hotel and in the area. - Beds not comfortable (way too hard) - polyester duvets - Old / outdated with carpets all over Rest was ok.

Great hotel within walking distance of Maximillianstrasse. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We stayed for one week with the whole family of 5. We enjoyed it. The location is great, the staff are super friendly and attentive. Our only feedback is that the cleaning crew was not up to speed. I think Management is aware and addressing this already.
