If you are after a truly Swedish experience, this must be it. Located next to a lake, which gives it its name, the hotel offers old world charm. An excellent breakfast and good dinner round it off. Just keep in mind that this is an historic property so rooms are a little smaller but cozy and with good beds.

Very friendly staff and beautiful hotel. My staff was just before Christmas and therefore the hotel was decorated beautifully!

Arrived on Sunday around lunchtime, and the kitchen made me a sandwich as they were not doing lunch. Thank you, above and beyond in my opinion

Great hotel, perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Easy and immediate access to the forest and lakes. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is located next to a lake and close to the forest. You can walk in to the center of the small town in 10-12 minutes. We were only two (2) guests at the hotel due to these corona-affected times, so the number of staff and operating hours in the lobby was limited, Regardless, the service was good and check-in was smooth and nice. No buffet breakfast, but they served an excellent breakfast at your table. The single room I booked was small, but not exceptional, and the bed was very comfortable. Many of the things you usually could do was closed, such as using swimming pool, sauna, etc. The few staff was very friendly and service minded. Even though the hotel is a bit old, it is nice, clean and price worthy. I was very satisfied with my stay!

Lugnt och avkopplande med trevlig personal. God mat och dryck med en stor frukost buffé. Bra promenader efter en lång körning sitter alltid bra. Kan rekommendera övernattning här.

Väldigt mysig och välkomnande känsla! Fick fantastiskt bemötande av all personal och maten var så god. Frukosten hade ett stort utbud och saknade ingenting enligt mig. Rummet i tornet var mysigt och fräscht. Kommer definitivt besöka hotellet igen!
