The property staff is well-trained; however, elements of this property's age are starting to show, and staff are only following existing SOPs versus proactively handling deficiencies. Dirt on the outside of the admin office door outside the breakfast area, etched slurs within the men's bathroom stall, which weren't touched but reported on day one of a week-long stay. Loose stones are falling off outside the parking garage. Tile work/grout needs bristle cleaning versus just running a mop over the tile when comparing edge grout versus grime buildup of common areas. Hard water buildup on all tile work within the pool and hot tub areas also needs attention. Lastly, another significant change versus when it opened is that staff no longer checks on hot tub or pool users to upsell or promote additional drinks or food, and while an interesting choice, the option of an attendant at least checking was nice. Throughout my entire week, we had no dedicated service within the pool or hot tub areas, even while staff pooled around the bar and were not serving any other customers within the lobby/restaurant areas.
