We'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Negombo. It's in a perfect location for exploring and had a great pool which was an added bonus. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We could walk into Negombo to the local restaurants and cafes and it was a perfect start to our holiday. The rooms were well kept and clean! Thank you!

Didnt arrive till 1 am. They receptionist left his number at tge desk and was with us in 5 mins. Great.

Very clean if they offer comforter it will be better. Owner is very helpful stuff are friendly. Strongly recommend.

For the price it was nice enough. We only stayed one night because our flight landed late. And for that, it was great. But I wouldn’t stay longer. The bed was soft, but the pillows were not. We had a small IKEA throw as our blanket. The tv had 3 channels none in English. But the breakfast was nice, eggs & toast.

The staff at the Christima Residence were excellent and very attentive. They catered to our every need and were very accommodating to our special requests. One of the hotel staff named Pradeep was very polite, welcoming, and did a great job and making us feel very welcome. I would rate this property as one of the best in Sri Lanka.

We stayed here for a couple hours before a flight. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable, and the location is great. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely return if I need a nice room near the airport.

Booked this as close to airport and included in our flight price to Colombo. Lovely clean hotel, pick up from airport for 2000 rupees (£10 ish) they also looked after our bag while we travelled to Jaffna for a few days. We then stayed another 2 nights. Staff friendly. You Need to pre order breakfast as we tried on the morning and not available? Pool great after a busy day.

Lovely stay however we did not realise it was a share accomodation. We had our own room and bathroom , both very nice, and a share kitchen lounge laundry . The share area was only with one other room so it was not a problem just a surprise to us . The units are new and very nice as is the pool area. It is a bit of a walk to the supermarket , about 30 min walk, The beach about a 15 min walk and many cafes and restaurants about 15 to 20 mins . As we only stayed one night it was a bit hard to say if we really liked the area. The hotel was definitely good value and very nice as were the staff.

Lovely place. The rooms above reception are great! Good aircon, great TV, lovely staff and beautiful pool.

Very central location but off the Main Street and nice and quiet. The pool is excellent and wonderful to relax and cool off in after a hot day in town. We were surprised to find a fully equipped kitchen and living room attached. Walk to everywhere, great place to come after or before your long flight. We stayed 2 nights and will definitely recommend Christima residence to anyone.

We were very impressed, small complex with pool. Staff thoughtful and helpful. Bedrooms and en-suite clean and adequate, kitchen and lounge area are very generous and well equipped. Located in quite area, but only a short walk to bars and restaurants.

Guest House basic room with bathroom facilities good size with a/c & mosquito net. Good size swimming pool close to main road shops and restaurants near by, Facilities to make tea coffee, walking distance to the beach. Very helpful staff. We felt safe here. Married couple in our 60s.

Large rooms, if you have kids and are after a two bedroom apartment this place is a good stop for your first night in Sri Lanka. Nice sized pool, walking distance to the beach and some restaurants. No problem with noise other than a rooster next door that thought dawn was a couple of hours earlier than it was. Ear plugs wouldn't have gone astray. Hotel is being expanded, but we didn't gear any construction noise. Lovely clean spot for a stay close to the airport.

Two day stop over after flying from UK to chill and rest. Excellent apartment, very clean great pool, local area ok, not too much to see

We only stayed for one night between arriving in Colombo and heading inland, but we really felt we got incredible value for money here. A nice two bedroom with kitchen (which we never had time to use) opening to a lovely pool, just minutes walk from both the beach and loads of restaurants. We'd clearly stay here again, and possibly for longer.

The hotel could have been better if there was a TV in the room rather than in the common area. The concept of a residence may not be appropriate.

Generally very helpful staff. The hotel would need to be updated (the windows could not lock, tap needs changing and wifi only accessible in the lobby with constant login code needed) and swimming pool to be regularly cleaned. The breakfast was varied and very nice.
