Rooms were lovely and clean. Staff were friendly. Cosy atmosphere and the breakfast was nice.

Lovely little hotel/pub. Rooms are good and food is also good. My only complaint is the pillows, which have mentioned before. They are flat and hard and very uncomfortable. It is like resting your head on a wooden board. Change the pillows and I would be very happy.

This was the ideal location for us as we were at a wedding nearby. The hotel is lovely, easy to find, easy to park. It's secondary to the pub though so we waited to check in and had to press the bell three times before someone came but check in was quick and efficient when they arrived. No one came at check out so we had to leave the key on the desk. Room was nice, spacious and comfy, the bathroom was too hot, the towel radiator was scorching and no way of turning it down. There was a little road noise but otherwise couldn't fault it. Breakfast was great!

Lovely place to stay great staff & food was amazing

Lovely place full of character. Great choice for breakfast and dinner was good here too. Had very good service from all members of staff that we came into contact with. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of storage. The only criticism was that we were disturbed at times during the night by noise from the car park area that our room overlooked e.g. the delivery to the kitchen that arrived at 4am! Apart from that we enjoyed our 2 night stay which was very handy for a wedding at Cronford Park.

The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The service was good. No real complaints on my end. If I ever need to go to that area again I’d gladly stay there again.

We like this hotel and have stayed many times before and have future bookings. However, our one gripe is that the pillows are awful. They are thin and hard and very uncomfortable, like sleeping on concrete. These need to be changed for something more comfortable otherwise we might have to reconsider our future stays.
