The Hotel is very well situated, the rooms were great and food good, public areas clean and tidy maybe a little tired BUT its fantastic value for money

parking on site was offered as part of the deal but when we arrived the car park was full and we had to find another space away from the hotel. Our room was okay; a bit on the small size but for one night this didn't cause a problem. The staff were all, without exception, very keen to help and were all extremely polite and welcoming

Lovely location - Blackheath Village is a very pleasant part of London with beautiful cafes, small shops and bars. Some of the rooms in the the hotel look out over Blackheath. The room I stayed in unfortunately didn’t. Although the room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable, it was very hot. There was a very noisy wall-mounted fan which wasn’t used on account of the noise it made. The ground floor location at the back of the hotel looked directly on to a car park. For security, the window therefore only opened a tiny amount. The room was also quite dark. The breakfast is excellent. Although this sounds rather negative, I have chosen to stay at The Clarendon a few times - I can put up with the gloomy room as it’s really just a place to sleep etc! I would stay here again as it is good value for London and easy to access from Central London. There’s even a night bus from Trafalgar Sq which stops right outside the hotel.

Great stay here in Blackheath, what a hidden gem. Hotel well looked after and spacious bedrooms. Staff were helpful and polite.

Excellent location for transport to central London. Hotel facilities are excellent. Staff were very welcoming and helpful—-nothing too much bother! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were absolutely delightful and the breakfast alone was worth the stay. Exceptional. Comfortable beds and a quiet place to stay.

Enjoyed this respite from the flurry of London. Though the room was a little dated, with a key lock, for example, it was clean, comfortable, fresh-smelling, and well-stocked with amenities. The older gentleman at reception was exceptionally accommodating and even arranged an early continental breakfast for us since we had to leave an hour before the dining room opened. That old-fashioned attentiveness is so unusual these days, and it made our stay a pleasure. I hope to return one day.

There can’t be many places like this left. Reasonable pricing. Great service. Attentive staff. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay again.

Yes the bar was well stocked , however the bar tender was unable to do a Bloody Mary cocktail, as he had no training on the subject.

Lovely hotel - comfortable room and very clean bathroom. Staff were excellent, we had to check out before breakfast and they kindly arranged some toast and coffee for us. Would recommend staying!
