We checked in a day early after an abysmal experience at our previous hotel - and we’re glad we did! Beautiful location, comfortable beds, spotless room, exceptional staff, and amazing breakfasts and dinners. This was a truly memorable place.

Location is amazing, great view, nice deck, however the walls are quite thin. I could hear the people in the room next to me rustle the sheets, no exaggeration. That’s my only complaint.

Beautiful location on Snaefesnes. Amazing views. Room (we stayed in a cabin) isn’t large, but was well-appointed and very comfortable. Great included breakfast. We also enjoyed our supper at the hotel restaurant.

Had the room with the only balcony and was able to catch the northern lights! Food was very tasty and breakfast was good too.

The stay was great. Nicest hotel we’ve stayed at in Iceland so far. My only complaint was the cod at dinner was not fresh. It has an ammonia taste to it which was unfortunate but everything else was great.

The hotel was lovely. Bed was comfortable. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome. Supper and breakfast were both great. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The price point is high and I felt breakfast could have been complimentary at that rate.

What a wonderful hotel! We found this beautiful place when searching for stops along our trek of northern iceland. The staff was amazing, the food was superb, the views were insane and having a kitty roaming around was the icing on the cake! Would highly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful views and great staff! Rooms were very small, but otherwise great.

We had a cute little cabin just outside of the main room. It was small but it was all we needed for the one night stay we had. Food was very good. We found the restaurant pricey for breakfast. I can't eat 40 dollars worth of food in the morning and since there were no other options and no mini fridge we had to buy the breakfast.

Great coastal location in Hellnar. Excellent for coastal walks and exploring the Peninsula. Great breakfast. Cod liver oil a brilliant idea!
