Good location. The corridors offer views of the sea. Breakfast is fine. But there is a lot of noise near the hotel. I believe it is an all-night party. Unable to sleep well.

Really lovely stay and enjoyed our stay here. Very close to the main bar street if you want to experience the night life and beach. Although it can get very loud at night, every night.. The staff is friendly and very helpful as well. Includes breakfast and has a pool ! Great value . Thank you

It was a mid range hotel. Positives are; The view was mind-blowing. The breakfast was very nice The staff were great. It was very reasonably priced Lots of shops conveniece items Holiday gift shops near by Beach was right in front of the hotel. The beach was beautiful Our balcony views were breathtaking. Negatives; It's very hilly area, to get to the beach isn't very easy for someone with walking issues. Very difficult for wheelchair users. The noise of the music from nearby clubs was very loud. Overall it was a good experience.

Great place, value for money

Lovely stay at the hotel. Biggest downside is the closeness to the main nightclub in town. Expect music until at least 4am!!!

Service in the hotel was quite slow. We asked for a couple of cold beers and we were told they didn’t have them and we would have to wait 15min for them to come. It was so noisy with music from other hotels, this went on until 3.30am and we were told this happens every night. We had booked to stay for two nights but left after the first night with only getting a could of hours sleep.

The hotel is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and neat. And only one thing is disappointing - the night club in the neighborhood will not allow you to sleep until 5AM. Bring your earplugs.

- The hotel is located near clubs, and with poorly insulated windows, we were disturbed by loud music until 4 AM, making it nearly impossible to sleep. - There was no prior warning about the noise, and no earplugs were provided. We only learned about the noise issue after asking reception. The noise inside the room exceeded 70db. While the hotel isn't responsible for the music, better soundproofing or advanced notice would have been appreciated. - The interior of the hotel is very outdated and desperately needs a complete renovation. - The bathroom had a strong unpleasant odor, and the wooden door was covered in mold. - The bed sheets and towels were extremely old, and the overall cleaning standards were very poor. - Sadly, we did not receive the sea view that we had expected. - The breakfast offered was average and quite simple.

We made a reservation at Hotel Gumbet in Bodrum, Turkey, but unfortunately, our experience was terrible. The room we booked was non-smoking, but when we arrived, the only room available reeked of smoke. The staff couldn't offer us another room and started being hostile towards us. We were forced to book another hotel since we didn't receive any assistance. Moreover, even after all the discomfort, they didn't allow us to cancel our reservation and didn't refund the prepaid amount. This experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. We expected better service, especially from a hotel that advertised non-smoking rooms. We recommend that other guests double-check the hotel's policies and room conditions before making a reservation. Furthermore, we hope that Hotel Gumbet improves its management and customer service to prevent bad experiences like ours.

I won’t recommend it. There is an open air night club right by the hotel, even with windows closed you hear it inside and this loud music doesn’t stop till 5am. I couldn’t sleep all days I was there. The room need some refreshing. But the staff was great and delicious breakfast

This is a family run hotel. The owner and his partner are very personable even sharing his mobile to contact if we have issues. We were in room 201 which had a fantastic sea view. The room was well appointed with good air conditioning and fridge. There was tea making facilities but no kettle. Shower was excellent as was the cleaners. The room is a little tired but generally it was pleasant. The breakfast was a Turkish breakfast which was plentiful and fresh. The pool is really the hotels best feature along with the great staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. The major downside is the location next to major nightclubs which blast out very loud music until 4am. If you are in Gumbet to party this is a great location, not so much if that isn’t your thing. It’s very loud and it’s all night There is a great restaurant 100 yards to the left if you don’t fancy the climb back into town.
