Staying with the sisters who run the property and the other staff became increasingly pleasant with every passing day. Plus, I was more than comfortable in my room, where they don't skimp on pillows for those of us who like to sit up in bed to work. There's no generator on the premises for the load-shedding but that's normal for comparable properties. Just stay atune to the schedule is what I learned in southern Africa.

The owner, Olga, was a wonderful host, gave us very warm hospitality and a lot of information about the local area. We slept comfortably and the breakfasts set us up for the whole day. Nothing was too much trouble for Olga and Lalamo is set in very pleasant gardens. The guest house is perfectly located only three or four minutes drive from Phalaborwa Gate and is an ideal, peaceful place to stay. We would be happy to recommend this guest house to anyone.

I called to say will arrive late and arrangements were made to assist with my very late check in.Thannk you so much.The environment is very homely with a great human touch. Breakfast was awesome and will highly recommend. Great innovation to give welcoming gift to your guests. I don't drink alcohol but I appreciated the gesture and hospitality message well received. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Very secured environment, clean and neat surroundings. A variety of great accommodation to choose from and the breakfast which is included in the rates are far too much, but very tastefully prepared. The location centrally situated between mid town and the entrance gate to Kruger National Park.Really great value for money.

The welcome was very nice and friendly. The house looks a bit old, but the room is clean, smelling good. Bed line clean and fresh. Very good breakfast and excellent service. I will come back.

It has very basic amenities with a great breakfast. Wouldn't complain much since it is very close to the gate of Kruger Park after all. The staff were quite helpful.

Stayed 3 nights - received service way beyond exceptions. Very close to Gate. plenty of food, shops close, if you need more than the good breakfast provided. Rooms are old but were comfortable.

It was very good to stay there.

I stayed at Lalamos on two occasions; upon arriving to Phalaborwa and my last two nights there and I would always again stay there again. It is a lovely guesthouse, with great service and very filling breakfast. The lady owning the place is really friendly and so helpful in all things. I greatly enjoyed my stay there and can highly recommend Lalamos to anyone!

Great value for the money. Room is not luxurious but is nice and has good a/c, wifi and tv. A wonderful breakfast is included. In addition there were complimentary snacks and a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. Hard to beat at this price. The lady who runs the place is great!

I think it was the right place for me. The area and hotel environment was quit. The room size was okay.

The room was very nice and the guest house was very close to dining, a grocery, fuel and the gate into Kruger.

Leuke gastvrouw en mooi verblijf. Bedden waren erg slecht en veel schimmel in de badkamer. Ontbijt was heerlijk, houden rekening met mensen die naar Kruger National Park gaan.

In die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft, reichhaltiges Frühstück, gute Lage nahe des Krüger-Nationalparks. Im Zimmer kein WLAN verfügbar, lediglich im Frühstücksraum.
