Greater location, very near to Old Portsmouth, the Naval Dockyard, every transport option possible, restaurants, shops. Walkable to Southsea. Very recommendable.

Nice place in great location. King suite was cute and quirky. We really enjoyed the space and amenities (tea kettle, biscuits, etc). Breakfast was great. This was our second stay and we’ll be back.

Great location, easy parking, attentive staff and lovely food - but come on guys refresh the decor and get on top of the room cleaning. How about a regular deep clean of rooms that involves moving the beds, clearing the accumulations under them and cleaning the dust from the selves and ledges. You can do better.

This is a perfect place from which to explore the entire area, including Stonehenge in Salisbury which is easily reachable via the train just across the street, as are local ferries and buses. The old port district, Cathedral and Portsmouth Museum are a pleasant 15 to 20 minute walk, and there are plenty of food options. Highly recommend!

Had a nice room on third floor with a view of the Warrior and Spinnaker Tower. Room was fairly quiet with a decent shower. Breakfast was good. We’d stay here again.

The Ship Leopard is very close to the Historic Docklands entrance, which was the reason for our visit. We very much appreciated being allowed to leave our car in the car park after checking out, until we left the dockyard in the early afternoon - thank you!

The hotel and staff are lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable, and a generous size. The view of the harbour was fab! Bed was big, a little hard for our liking, but fine. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable- they need changing. Bathroom fine - shower was roomy and water was hot, good powerful stream. The bidet was placed much too close to the wall, so it was unuseable. Room serviced every day. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a bit limited in choice, but they certainly know how to poach an egg! Location is very convenient for all local attractions. Sadly the immediate area lets it all down - although the hotel can't help that of course. There's a rowdy pub just down the road, the station is noisy if you are front facing and have the window open, and the immediate vicinity feels run down, slightly seedy and I wouldn't go out late at night! A real shame as the hotel is perfectly nice.

Stayed for one night. Excellent value, room was on the small side but fine for me and very neat and clean with great shower. Stay included breakfast and parking. Breakfast freshly cooked to order with helpful and friendly staff. Parking easy and straightforward directly behind hotel.

This is NOT a boutique hotel in any shape or form.. smelly carpet in the suite room..dresser covered in a foil material that was all peeling off.. shower was awful and hardly worked dribbled out.. it was out of its its holder and I was too short to fix it up.. entry door only one door opened so struggled to get my case through.. small double bed not king size and very thin sheets… No fridge or bottled water . Very very overpriced at £160.00 per night. Breakfast however was nice.

The Ship Leopard Hotel was the perfect place for us to see our son off from the naval base when he went on deployment. Ideally situated close to great viewing points for his departure, shops and plenty of places to eat & drink plus it has its own car park, which is great when you're visiting somewhere for the first time and you're not really sure where you are or where you're going! The hotel itself is fabulous - so clean and comfortable and the staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Our room had everything we needed and was very quiet so we had a completely undisturbed nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent with a range of choices and set us up for the day. Our priority for this visit was seeing our son off, but there is so much to see and do in that part of Portsmouth that we've said we'll definitely visit again and The Ship Leopard Hotel will be our go to accommodation! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and comfortable.
