We have stayed here before. Lovely little B&B, comfy beds, nice quality bedding, nice bathrooms and great location for beach and town. Will definitely return again !!

This B&B is all about the location, which is great, right on the quay, our room even had views of the quay and boats which was a pleasant surprise. Everything is walkable. We parked our car in the Stearmans Yard Car Park and didn't use our car until check out. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within 5-10 minute walk, a little bus behind the B&B takes you to the beach if you don't want to walk, although its £2pp each way! The beach is amazing, a must do if you are staying, we went for a few hours every day of our stay, the dogs loved it. Our room had a fridge, kettle, great bed, a view of the quay and got good Wi-fi signal. It was perfectly adequate, it is a little tired with stained carpet and loose fixtures but not an issue for us at all. Karen was a great host. My only negatives, which is just me, the breakfast wasn't to my taste, not a great selection to tempt me, but there was cereals, toast and pastries which is good, but we decided to go find a cooked breakfast somewhere else, which was fine, we didn't book the room for the breakfast. I also never understand the charge per dog anywhere we stay. You don't pay additional for the room per humans, but do for dogs, you may say additional cleaning, but my dogs aren't any dirtier than a human and I'm sure didn't leave a mess that required additional cleaning. But every where charges it, so this is no reflection on the place, just mine own gripe. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return.

This is not a typical b&b. Limited breakfast options , but excellent bread for toasting. Very good coffee machine available all day / night. Room 8;was quite small and lacked any seating However the bedding was white cotton at its best. Managed to park further down the road which was very handy, but two car parks just across the road. Overall there were many plus points but my overriding feeling is that the b&b price is a little too high

Very good position. Everything was nice and clean. Room comfortable though very cramped. No real hanging space. Continental breakfast was somewhat lacking. Very limited choice.

Check in process was easy, it was all self service and the instructions were very clear so it made this a simple process. The room was a decent size however part is the ceiling is quite low so you had to duck down when moving around. (Room 5) There was a fridge with a jug of water in and a selection of tea and coffee on the side with biscuits. I stayed for 2 nights but there was only enough coffee and biscuits for 1 night. I was disappointed regarding breakfast as free breakfast was offered as part of the booking but it wasn’t stated that it was continental only. This was only communicated the night before when receiving a message from the property, it would have been nice to have been offered a cooked breakfast as I personally don’t like continental. The location is amazing, you are only a couple of minutes walk to the harbour. There is no parking at the property however if you’re lucky like I was, you can park out the front for free. In the message from the property it did advise which car park to use which was helpful. I would stay here again based on the location.

It is in the perfect spot. It is extremely friendly and Karen is an excellent host - felt most welcome. Would certainly stay again and highly recommend a stay here Pete and Diane Steadman

Great location, staff were very friendly, breakfast was a continental. Room was lovely and big.

The room was beautiful, clean and spacious, perfect location for car parking shops and restaurants and could not have been better. Staff really friendly at breakfast which too was lovely

We were not able to check in as there was a problem with the room. We were not notified before arriving at the property, despite receiving a revised room number/check in info on the morning of our expected arrival. Communication was not great, and whilst we were provided another alternative accommodation, I have not heard back from the hotel since.

Great location. Car park close by. Paid 11 pounds for 24 hours. Self check in with key lock. Room 8 up top. view of estuary. Nice Stay. Room not immaculate as paint peeling in places and shower door in wet room seemed to not close as meant to. Breakfast was beeing cleared when we went down 30 mins before end time, but lady was lovely and put it out for us.

Room was clean and tidy. No one there when we arrived, but thats ok.

We have stayed at the Quay many times and Alexandra always takes time to make sure everything is just right. It's always our place to stay in Wells.

Good place to stay, close to all amenities and beach.

Breakfast was cancelled at very short notice. Check in was automated due to no staff as well. Room was pleasant enough but no hand soap supplied for the wash-hand basin.
