The staff was absolutely amazing!!! We went on a 14 day honeymoon, and the hotel was beautiful, private beach, staff was very accommodating, and it is the perfect spot to get away from tourists but yet take a 5 minute car ride into the heart of Zona Romantica. Highly recommend this stay and we will definitely be coming back!

We stayed in the Luna penthouse and extended our stay from 7 to 14 days. THE rooms are ABSOLUTELY overpriced. We chose to stay for the nostalgia. FYI we’ve been staying here for over a decade. We were friends of the late Margret (org owner) and friends of Otto (new owners father) CONS: not all the amenities in the rooms worked. The ceiling fan in our Luna penthouse didn’t work the entire stay. We immediately reported it to Diego (maintenance person) who was unable to fix it. Itzel (the front desk Manager offered 20% of dinning) FYI we Already had this discount being a platinum member thru Expedia so we wasn’t doing us any favors or incentives for the inconvenience. FOOD:The restaurants hours were inconsistent. Two occasions the kitchen closed early and no longer serving food at 8 PM. I also got food poisoning. After that, UBER EATS was our best option Pools: plunge pools hot tub size and temp. The only way to truly cool down is by cold shower on the roof top pool near the bathroom. Housekeeping: We had a housekeeper that did NOT change the dirty bed sheets nor did she remove the trash bag from the second restroom. ASK for LUZ she’s amazing! NOTE: THIS IS A VERY OLD HOTEL. It is not ADA friendly there ARE ZERO elevators, WiFi and cell service are terrible. If you are looking for a five star experience this is not the place for you. There are plenty of other villas right next door better amenities and pricing

This hotel is amazing! Clean, staff was very tentative, food at the restaurant was soooo good(breakfast and dinner are made to order), nice little semi private beach, 3 pools ( we used 2 of them), drinks at the bar were on point, short ride to Zona Romántica. We enjoyed a massage while there, they came to our room and provided the service there. Which was so nice an d relaxing with the sound of the crashing waves.

We loved this place. The rooms have character. Beach was lovely. We especially enjoyed the restaurant and the service. Pools and views were outstanding. There are stairs to navigate but well worth it.

Great quiet location with a private beach while only a 3-5 minute cab ride to the amenities of Zona Romantica. The restaurant onsite was really convenient and served great options for breakfast and morning coffee.

My family and I stayed for a weekend and the front desk man was accommodating and helpful with recommendations for excursions, and other activities to do in the area. The room was clean, pillows are soft and fluffy. Breakfast menu was really good too. The beach was nice but we walked over to the left side past the big rocks and enjoyed it by there.

We had the Maria, the room was super spacious and clean! The views were amazing! Definitely coming back!

This is a truly beautiful boutique hotel with so much history and character. Everything felt antique and thoughtfully curated, with beautiful artwork everywhere you looked. We stayed in the Luna room and the view was absolutely amazing — we watched the sunset from the room and it felt truly magical. The hot tub was also incredible. Overall, we had an amazing experience. I’m really glad places like this still exist and that not everything has turned into those cold, soulless all-inclusive hotels.

Wish I could’ve stay longer!!! The staff was lovely. We arrived early and they let us drop our bags off and go down to the beach access on property while we waited for our room to be ready. Gorgeous and less than 10 minute taxi from Romantica Zone. Will def be back!

All staff was great and helpful. We had a very good experience and when relaxing in the beach they brought out complimentary drinks for us. Arriving we were treated with a margarita and Pedro explained how to navigate around the hotel with great detail.

The room was okay but no view.l at all. People at hotel were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was pretty decent. However I found the booking through hotels.com to be very unusual. The hotel insisted that I pay them direct half the booking cost before arrival. When I received the message to do this I was very concerned that it was some kind of a scam, but I checked as much as I could, took a chance and it wasn't. Usually I rely on hotels.com to cover all the payments so you know you're safe but for some reason the hotel chose to do things differently. When we left I got the final bill which had an extra $50 a night for a second person when the booking clearly said it was for two. They did fix this and we left. But the 50% of accommodation was not on the final invoice so I assumed somehow this would be charged back to hotels.com. Anyway I then had to arrange a second payment to settle this. Hopefully they can streamline this for others going forward.

This place is amazing, it was worth more than what we paid. The beds are new, hot water, clean nice bathroom and the property is just cool. Has its own private beach and most rooms have a view of the ocean. I would stay here again in a minute. The only potential negative is the place has a lot of stairs. If you are unable to walk stairs this place isn’t for you. If you can walk stairs this place is amazing and the staff super nice.

My stay was simply exceptional. The location, the staff, and my room were all wonderful. I highly recommend getting an Ocean Suite the views are absolutely breathtaking. The property is beautifully decorated, well kept, and very peaceful. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be coming back. I’ve added this boutique hotel to my list of favorites.❤️

We actually didn't get an ocean front room however all I can say is it's impossible to not see the ocean from this hotel. We had a room set back on one of the pool levels but our balcony was basically the pool. The common areas are exquisite and all have views. The rooms with the ocean views looked great and all the other guests seemed quite happy.
