Love the old charm of this hotel

Staff were extremely kind and helpful. I needed an iron and they quickly brought one to my room. Great location, walking distance to the train. Clean room, perfect for a short stay.

Room clean. Good shower and heated toilet seat and free soft drinks replaced daily on the plus side. Negative points- limited tv channels and no movies to rent. Robe but no slippers. Mattress lumpy

Amazing always try to stay there

Not off to a good start as the room was not ready at check in time, so had to leave unlocked bags with reception for room delivery once ready. That said, a very very clean hotel with much character; good sized room and very friendly professional staff. Would definitely stay again, but hopefully get a softer bed next time.

Windows had some mould and shower needed a repair to tiles. Room temperature too hot - turned it down to 19 before bed was at 26 the next morning.
