I routinely travel to or thru London for business and have now found The place I will stay whenever my work requires an overnight stay in the London area. I recently brought my daughters on my last trip, extending it for some vacation time with them. We picked the Sanctum because the location, while a bit further out from downtown London, we would get more space for the price. Found it to be superb-better than the old, cramped hotel rooms at a higher price near the usual tourist spots. With the underground access literally a block away, getting around London was no different. Also found the area pubs and restaurants to be fantastic! A special shout out to Zero 75 -a Tapas restaurant nearby. The menu was so good, we ended up going there twice for dinner (coming back from day trips into London proper) during our 3-day stay. Looking forward to visiting the Sanctum and the tapas in a few months!!

Super clean great staff, 1 block to overground, 2 blocks to underground, bus stop outside front door. Quiet even on street side. Tesco, Costa Coffee and Primark one block. Washer Dryer in room. Full kitchen like at home. Extra large bathroom, hair dryer and iron/ironing board. King size bed and queen size couch bed in apt 102. Will stay again!

The Sanctum Hotel on Belsize Road in London offers a stylish, well‑located base in a quiet but convenient part of NW3, just a short walk from Belsize Park Underground and the lively shops and cafés of Belsize Village. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with a boutique feel, and the staff are professional and happy to help with directions or local tips, which makes it a respectable choice for a short stay in North London. That said, guests should know that the hotel does **not have an on‑site restaurant or bar**, and there are **no public restrooms in the property** beyond the rooms and corridors. If you’re planning to have a meal or coffee inside the building, you’ll need to rely on nearby options. The good news is that Belsize Road and the surrounding area are lined with independent cafés, pubs, and restaurants, so there are several places to eat and grab a drink within a 5–10 minute walk. Overall, the Sanctum is a solid, characterful hotel if you’re comfortable dining out and don’t mind a short stroll to find food and drink.

It was very nice that the room was quiet, clean, and had a washing machine. The refrigerator was large, and the room had everything I needed. However, there weren’t many staff members, so even when I requested something at the front desk, it took 30 minutes and I had to call again. That was a downside. There are many shops and a supermarket nearby, and the station isn’t far, but the surrounding area didn’t feel particularly safe.

My stay at this hotel was the worst experience I’ve had, and I travel a lot. I’ve visited more than seven countries this year, and this was by far the most disappointing. This place is not luxury at all ,very basic and the kitchen pots were completely unusable, extremely scratched. The apartment itself was clean, but the service was shocking. I had two very bad experiences with staff: -Venush (front desk): I asked for water, and she refused. Instead of responding politely, she told me to walk four minutes to Tesco and buy it myself. In every hotel I’ve stayed in, even if water isn’t normally provided, staff usually try to help or at least speak politely. On top of that, she charged me extra for extending my stay just to leave my luggage in their storage, as we were traveling to Rome and returning the following week. -Osman (janitor/security): the Checkout was at 11 AM, but he started calling before 11, calling and yelling for me to leave the room immediately. This was extremely unprofessional. I explained that the dryer didn’t work properly, and I was ironing clothes to dry them, but he continued to pressure me to leave by knocking on the door, Just for 20 minutes late. It felt rude, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. I believe the management instructed staff to behave this way because of their strict checkout rules. Overall all I don’t recommend this place.

Kitchen had what we needed but a little limited in silverware and dishes. Room was clean and comfy. Very close to the station, like 5 minute walk. 3 stops from Paddington station. Close to grocery stores.

everything was clean, the staff was kind and friendly, and it was so silent at night. Full size fridge and cooking utensils etc. I do wish they provided a packet of anti-bac wipes so we could wipe down the surfaces, but we did have soap and a sponge. the shower had both rainfall and handheld which was amazing. 100% would stay again.

Great apartment hotel for extended stay in London. Everyone who worked there was helpful and friendly. Special shout out to Ottman for his hospitality and service. We will be back

Perfect for our stay would have liked a swim but had to stay a minimum of 7 nights to use the facilities!

Staff was very professional. Check-in was easy. The flat was very nice. A/C worked wonderfully as it should, heated floors were pretty cool. The shower was great. Not a lot of shelf space/lighting in the bathroom. The kitchen had a basic outfitting of utensils and dishes and cups. The water and coffee were complementary. There was no dish towel or paper towels. The only complaint we had was the washer/dryer combo was not that efficient. It might have been operator error but I turned on the dryer 3 times for about 6hrs and clothes were still damp. So we asked the staff if they provided a laundry service. They said they could take care of it in which they did. However, what they didn’t tell us was that it was gonna be €79. Location was about three minutes from the tube station, which was also convenient. There were a variety of stores with a block to include restaurants and a market. Would recommend staying and would stay again.
