Brilliant staff, nothing too much trouble

Thank you Chewton Glen for making my daughter’s re-set memorable. She enjoyed rhe spa and treatment very much . Most of all for the amazing service by all members of the staff - from janitors to reception to house keeping when we lost our way or needed help. You see how the staff just go beyond their respective roles to provide service to guests. I think we also got an upgrade but it was all discreetly done. Much appreciated

We booked this for a special stay just after our wedding for a spa break and whilst the staff at the hotel were so lovely and really looked after us, we were really disappointed by the spa.

Room was clean and cosy and all staff very helpful. Property well maintained and didn’t feel busy so a very relaxing stay

Wonderful stay as rooms are so comfortable and quiet with great bedding / pillows and coffee / tea facilities. So good to be able to open the windows at night too.

Lovely stay - lots to do, staff couldn’t be more helpful Only downside are the pool rules about children which extend to 16 year olds - who have to be booked in in children’s hours as if they are 4

Not the best service. Food not the best in the dining room. Expected more from a hotel charging £650+ a night.

No minibar or bar drinks room service. Room was tired with stains on upholstery & bedding

Chewton Glen is a splurge treat. The hotel and service are 5*. If money was no object we’d stay here every week. The spa and treatments are fantastic and the food standards excellent. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel, which offered a beautiful spa, very clean (and large) rooms, and incredible amenities such as tennis courts, golf courses, spa, club house and croquet. Staff were friendly and very attentive, and the complimentary breakfast and other meals at the hotel were superb. We also enjoyed the spa and some treatments

Unreal spa and room, staff were great

Overall very nice but starting to look a bit tired in places. A few tiles missing from the pool area, chipped paintwork, bathrooms a bit dated. Not really what you expect from a 5* hotel.
