Worst placed stayed for a long time, paper thin walls, argumentative guests, drunks rolling in from 2am until daybreak, uncomfortable bed. Travel a lot and stay away most wks, 2/3 nights most wks. By far the worst, wouldn’t even rate it as a doss house, awful.

The ocean is out the front door. The castle is down the road.

You get exactly what you pay for. The bed is soft the sheets are clean and it is right on the see front. If that is all you need it’s fine would not do more than one night.

Room is clean but it was so small and bathroom is really really small. Check in was bit confused.

Practical place to stay, on the promenade. Friendly staff, dogs welcome. Clean, good bed and shower. If you go there at the weekend the parking spaces are free on the promenade for 4 hours ( Monday to Saturday, 8am-6pm).

Great room in a prime location. Comfy bed wuth everything needed. The view was immense and we will certainly be looking to book at this hotel each time we stay in Aberystwyth

The room conditions were awful. We had to book another hotel due to the poor conditions.

Adequate room that was clean and basic few cracks that I think needed looking at but was a pleasant stay with beautiful views

This property is old and worn, but clean, functional, and full of character. Carpet was in bad shape underneath the table by the window, but so what? Enjoyed sitting there with a cup of tea, looking out to sea. Bed was very comfortable, plumbing worked, and everything we needed was in walking distance. We enjoyed playing the guitar in the lounge.

Absolutely run down, our door had about a 10cm gap under it, could hear everything from other rooms/landing. Got woke up with loud noises from pipes? Bathroom dirty dead spider on the floor, hairs in the shower, cracks all on the ceiling, carpet all frayed up and wallpaper hanging off parts of wall. Bedding had marks on it too. Hardly slept the whole weekend Tried looking for someone to speak to both Mornings and none about.

The beach view was lovey. We were fortunate to get parking across the road without restrictions overnight.

The hotel Staffs here very polite and helpful.

Clean and tidy but dated. Could do with some refurbishment. Mattresses uncomfortable.

Tatty and dirty, don't know where to start, there's so many things wrong with this place. Don't stay here.

Nice sea view room. Basic but very clean. Enjoyed stay.

Fab place and ideal location

Booked last minute on a bank holiday and was not disappointed, checked in no problem, was surprised to get a sea view room, fabulous.

Hotel average at best, but it was cheap so you get what you paid for. No lifts, shower in a closet, with carpet on the floor. Staff extremely friendly helpful.
