A really convenient location, close to the hustle and bustle but also quiet. The property is full of character and the staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. Delicious breakfast in lovely courtyard. Overall excellent and would very much recommend.

Lovely place, very close to the main attractions and souks but you felt a million miles away in the comfort and tranquil Riad Dar El Souk. As a family of 4, I highly recommended this great place hosted by kind and friendly staff.

Dar el Souk is a hidden gem in Medina! Madi and all of the staff ensured that we would have an excellent stay. We got in quite late to Marrakech but Madi was able to organise an airport transfer and we arrived at our riad swiftly and without any issues. The staff helped us in with our luggage and provided us with recommendations for what to do around Marrakech. Although we only stayed here for 2 nights, we were given the full 5 star treatment. We had to check out early on Tuesday morning (6:30 AM) because we had a 3 day tour scheduled. The late night manager (I believe his name was Abdullah) was very kind and helped us check out early so we could make our tour on time. He even packed us a breakfast because we didn't have time for a sit down meal before we had to leave. All in all, we had an amazing time at riad Dar El Souk and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech. Thank you Madi and the entire staff for making our stay so pleasant!

If you’re looking for the perfect escape from the busy medina, look no further. Riad Dar El Souk is absolutely beautiful and a tranquil oasis that is just a short walk away from brilliant restaurants and shopping in the souks. We stayed two nights but could have stayed much longer. Abdul the Riad manager was fantastic, relaxed and informative. He helped us so much, gave us tips for shopping and navigating the souks, organised a day trip to Essouria for us even when we were staying in a different hotel much further out of Marrakech, and let us store our bags at the Riad on our last day in Marrakech and arranged a taxi for us to the airport. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable at his Riad, and the rest of the staff were all so happy and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and our room had everything we needed and more. We would definitely go back and recommend Riad Dar El Souk to anyone.

We had such a great time here. The riad itself was beautiful and in a great location, less than 10 mins walk to central marrakech and very quiet at night time. Abdul and the team there couldn't have made us feel more welcome and went above and beyond in terms of how helpful they were. Thank you so much again.

Truly Exceptional... Better than 10/10 or 5/5. From the top to the bottom this is the BEST Riad Hotel to stay at bar none. The staff is incredible. Abdul, Mohammed, Fatima- really the best of the best in hospitality; attentive, and anticipate any and everything you may need beforehand. Owned by a truly fantastic owner Madeline, who really truly cares about you and the experience at her property. The building itself and the rooms are decorated in truly Moroccan authentic wares. Beds are very comfortable, showers hot and perfect after a long day of walking the area whether on tours or by yourself this property is located perfectly in the medina to explore at will. Breakfast is also exceptional. Plenty of food and juice, tea, coffee, etc to start your day. The property is well maintained and ultra clean. If you are reading this and on the fence.. book this RIAD. I've stayed at 5* hotels in many cities across 54 countries. This really is 5* in every way. As I said earlier, truly Exceptional

Riad staff is amazing and helpful. Riad is somewhat older and not as up to date. Location is good, though have to walk through multiple back alleys that can get a little sketchy at nighttime.

Beautiful riad with phenomenal service. Took cooking class - real fun and ate great results. Very close to Djem el Fna, but need Google Maps to find. Very quiet and once again, very helpful staff.

The riad is not close to the main road and you may need a porter to help carry your luggage. Unlike other riads, riad staff didn't help us carry the luggage up the stairs to our room on the second floor. We also had to carry our own luggage down when we checked out. Riad decor was very nice and the patio was a joy. Only bread for breakfast with no warm food (e.g. egg, sausages...).

It was my first time in Morocco but the staff was so kind and made my visit feel safe and relaxed. As I was there in November, the tile floors were cold so slippers would have been a nice touch (another place in Rabat where I stayed the days immediately before offered these in the room) - but I just doubled my socks. ;) The location is very tucked away... I felt generally safe as there are other riads closeby but I didn’t stay out too late. Breakfast daily was yummy, and the garden in the courtyard lovely. Very instagrammable facilities all around as well! :)

This Riad is amazing! It’s very close to the the main square but is still tucked away in a quiet corner of the Médina. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff went above and beyond to making our first visit to Marrakesh wonderful. A special thanks to Abdul.

The souk was relatively easy to find, we had our driver walk us to the door as the cars can’t go in the narrow lainways. Everything was beautifully arranged and comfortable. We were given a room on the ground floor so we asked to be moved higher as we were just getting over food poisoning we got on our tour we needed to sleep and they graciously accommodated us. We were very thankful for this. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and plenty. The only thing that left a bad taste in our mouth was an envelope that was left in our room asking for a tip for the staff. NEVER has this happened in any of the souks in Morocco or anywhere else in the world. We would have left the tip anyway but this way we felt forced to and I don’t like being guilted into giving money! Bad way to end an otherwise nice stay.

Quiet Riad away from the main streets but easy walking distance to all main sights in the medina. Great, friendly service from all staff. Lovely large room (Sagha) with outside porch area. Highly recommend for your stay in Marrakech.
