Overall stay was brilliant, safe parking and staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Room was clean , comfortable and warm (weather was awful). Food was not quite up to the very high standards of the hotel or staff but perfectly acceptable.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, the room was expansive and beautiful, the shower was like being under a warm waterfall, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was divine even if my eyes were bigger than my belly. I would highly recommend staying here and I might do so again in future.

The overall experience was ok, nothing special. It’s definitely no a 5 star hotel. We also had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and overall it was decent. At the arrival, no one explained as where the parking was, the WiFi and how to enter the property after 8 pm. At the check out no one was there and we just left the key to the chef

Overnight stay with family. Returning visit as great location and good food on site. Friendly welcome, clean and comfortable room. On site parking is convenient.

Nice clean place. The room and bathroom doors on the upper floor are meant for hobbits. Therefore, if a normal person is not careful, it leaves a bump on their head. On a warm day, those rooms are not very comfortable to sleep as there is no air conditioning.

Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean and looked after. The only negative was at breakfast in the pub, the cups looked like dishwasher hadn’t cleaned them good enough.

Absolutely incredible stay. The room was the cosiest - I could have slept for a week straight. The food was 12/10, massive portions and incredibly fresh. The best was the staff! Thanks all! From check in to check out, everyone was great to have a chat with. I can’t wait to come back.

Comfortable stay the night before the Bala swim. Service at evening meal was excellent. Breakfast service Terrible as only 1 member of staff at start of breakfast. Long wait until more staff arrived. Most of us needed feeding before the swim & a few left even though it was included.

I stayed for one nite in room 3 top floor. It’s situated at rear so away from Main Street at front , therefore so quiet . Lovely room , my gut feeling is the breakfast would be great , but I had to leave early so unfortunately can’t comment . Parking for my motorbike was easy and also at rear. Would definitely stay here again .

Fantastic pub! Room and bathroom clean with all facilities needed. Had a fantastic roast on the Sunday with a choice of 3 meats. Evening meals good too with a varied menu. Breakfast also great with an extensive selection. Staff made it memorable with their friendly, helpful approach. Look forward to retuning.
