I will definitely stay here again in Sarria. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Front desk receptionist, Monica, was very hospitable. Great value for your money.

Super friendly staff. Room and bathroom/shower were very clean and updated.

Booked a single room. Very nice and clean. I was there two nights the first night was very quiet with respectable guests on either side of my room. The second night I had Chinese ladies on either side of me that were rude, loud and messy. The walls are paper thin, so it’s common sense you talk in a low tone. Duh! I felt horrible for the cleaning person who had to clean up after them. Of course this does not reflect on my review. It was a lovely hotel with friendly staff, clean and well worth what I paid.

I highly recommend this hostel, location is everything! I arrived on the last train to Sarria and I was looking for a hostel nearby. This was only a 7-minute walk and they do check-in until 10:30pm. I could not get a room with private bathroom but sharing the bathroom was not an issue, I stayed in the top part of the hostel and there were only 3 rooms for the one bathroom. I had a restful night sleep and check-out was seamless!

Booked a private room to start our Camino here. It was charming, clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was also clean and had supplies that a hotel would have. Location is great! Just follow the sign from the train station -maybe a 5-10 minute walk away. Cafes and shops are close by. Marisa is so lovely and helpful. We’re glad we stayed here to start our Camino walk and celebrate our 25 years anniversary.

Albergue San Lazaro spoiled us for the first night of our camino! We had just finished 21 hours of travel to be there and the welcome was so friendly, helpful and warm that we were immediately at peace. We had a private room with shared kitchen and bathroom which was in a delightful stone cottage. The room was roomy and the shower AMAZING! Plenty of towels, blankets, toiletries and fruit provided for free (we enjoyed the apples and bananas on the Way the next day!!) very central location and well worth to stay - thank you for your hospitality! Will definitely recommend!!

Der Name Albergue soll auf ein Hotel hinweisen. Gibt es aber nicht. Es ist eher eine Herberge mit einem schönen grossen Aufenthaltsraum. Allerdings ohne Spül – oder Kochgelegenheit. Die Waschmaschinen stehen draussen im geschützten Gang und sind von allen erreichbar. Sehr einfach, aber hübsch eingerichtet.
