Hotel was great, good area, Metro and buses walking distance. Rooms were clean upon arrival and housekeeping assured we returned to an immaculate room every night. Hotel staff was excellent, friendly and very professional.They quickly switched my room ( no extra charge) to a larger room upon knowing I rented a wheelchair for my 89yr old mom. The front desk staff perfomed above and beyond, they made me feel at home. I have absolutely no complaint or anything negative to say about hotel or staff. I will gladly book a room with them upon a return trip to paris. The reason I gave it a 4 star was TV didn't allow me to switch close caption in English and those french movies looked good, I still watched them. I would highly recommend

Hotel smelled like an open sewer in the elevator and hallways. Reception girl was so rude tried to push us into a room we didn't reserve, patronising us saying "next time we should pay attention to the room we choose". Overheard her arguing with another guest about if they paid for breakfast or not. Awful service telling us to contact the third party service we used to "see what happened". Listen lady, its not my job to list your rooms accurately on websites, I know what I chose and it wasn't a ground floor at reception. Really soured the beginning of our stay in Paris. This hotel is a hard pass, never again. Do yourself a favor, don't go for the lowest cost, you get what you pay for. Rooms are tiny and bathrooms/showers fit dwarfs. I don't care that you comply with 3 star standards for size, do better than just the bare minimum.

I enjoyed my stay at Hôtel Hor Les Lumières, everything and everyone without any exception was fantastic! It is also well located. During my three nights’ stay I slept amazingly well and felt like home too. It was a pleasure being surrounded by smiling people 😊 and real genuine smiles at that 👌🏽🌷

Hotel itself is ok, and people for the most part have been quite helpful. Today however, the service was non existent when an issue occurred. The curtains in my room were removed in the middle of my stay with no explanation, and this happened over the hottest week ever recorded in the city - not to mention the lack of privacy. They have not replaced them nor offered an explanation or any sort of help to rectify the situation.

Vile and Disgusting The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at in 30 years of travelling the world. There is a serious damp issue. The shower is so small u cant turn without hitting yourself and there is only a hand held attachment which is broken sonu have to shower with it in your hand. The “towels” are like sand paper. The sheets on the bed, which was hard as a rock, were so hard. The bed spread was disgusting and not clean. You could not open a suitcase except in front of the door but then u could not enter the bathroom. The night manager was extremely rude. This is not a hotel, but a hell hole.
