Very accommodating when we arrived late. Helpful staff. The restaurant below, Papa Joes, were also friendly and took pity on us when we arrived as the kitchen was closing. Good location but worth a ride from the station. Trams go close.

The hotel was quirky, which we expected. Rooms were clean and staff were helpful. The hotel was situated close to lots of dining and shopping and everything was walkable. Breakfast could have been better but otherwise everything was great.

In general we liked the hotel, as a convenient location and good price. The rooms are adequate for sleeping and the shower/bath was fairly large. The beds are a little hard for my taste and the pillows completely flat. No AC, but there was a fan which died by the final day. Rooms were clean, but the cleaning staff left the damp/dirty towels from all the rooms that had been cleaned on the stairs between the floors. They were there for 2 days. It was okay for what it is.

Air conditioning will be a nice to have

At first appearance it looked like a very basic hotel but the room was very nice, newly renovated. We had a very comfortable stay for 3 nights.

The location in Altstadt Zurich is wonderful…close to everything. And the hotel is fun… not fancy … more than adequate … exactly as expected … and the price was good for this area. Thank you!

Very clean

The property is boutique style. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable. There were some hairs in the towels and the shower on the 4th floor has a arch ceiling which isnt fitting for a tall person. The biggest issue is the lack of air-conditioning. The reservation requested exyra charge for a drink upon arrival and breakfast. There was no drink upon arrival and I would recommend just going to get breakfast out in town. Without air conditioning, I wouldn't choose this property again. However, if that issue was corrected, I would choose it and do it without the addition of breakfast.

I didn’t like that they didn’t charge us until we began staying. I wish they’d let us prepay.

AWESOME PLAC!

It’s very hot in the hotel room, uncomfortable, It’s very hard to sleep in the rooms despite the fans and the open windows. The fridge isn’t working, and the toilet was gurgling all night. It’s one of the most uncomfortable hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

This was the last night of our trip from Italy through Switzerland before flying out of Zurich back to the States. We've been in Zurich before, this was more for convenience, but we were pleasantly surprised. Tiny hotel, kitchy/fun decor, the room & bathroom were bigger than expected. Very clean, full size bathroom, good condition. Option for breakfast at their restaurant was a nice addition. It's at the far end of the Old Town section (from Zurch HB train station), but very walkable to shops, sights, restaurants. There is a metro station 6 minutes away with a train that goes directly to the airport, so very convenient.

Lovely hotel, great location. Very noisy early morning from workers.

The staff were really friendly, room was spacious we were just disappointed with the air conditioning. We couldnt feel the fan, there was a portable fan in the room which did help. We djdnt have a minibar as it was being repaired but they offered to keep our milk in their fridge for us whislt reception was open to help

Nice hotel in the center of the old town

This hotel was in a great location and renovated so very clean. We weren’t aware prior to booking that it didn’t have air conditioning. We needed extra fans and had to keep windows open. The morning street noise woke us up bright and early.

It was unfortunate that there was no Air Conditioning and our Bar Cooler was inoperative .
