We booked 1 night stay for our trip in the area. We enjoyed our stay over all, Eric is a great host! The property was easy to navigate to, checking in was effortless without restriction on arrival time. The room was spacious, beds are super comfortable and everything was clean. We had a private bathroom and the only minus for us was that after showers the actual room would be very damp as there was no air ventilation nor window in the shower. Breakfast was quite simple bread, cereal, tea, coffee etc but there was opportunity to diy if you like to make breakfast properly the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking/storing your food. We enjoyed the common kitchen area to chat with other guests and socialize for a bit. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We stayed for 1 night .. Perfrct for attending concert in cork . The facility was perfect , very clean, well maintained , comfortable beds , area to relax and watch tv . Also modern kitchen facilities. ..would definitely recommend

We didn’t receive the check-in details until after the stated check-in time had already passed, which made arrival more stressful than it needed to be. The listing also mentioned breakfast, but no information was provided about it and we were unable to locate it during our stay. We also had trouble with the heating system. The only way we could get the heat to turn off was by turning off the hot water entirely. Additionally, the sofa bed pillows were simply the sofa cushions, which were far too firm and uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, the property was reasonably clean and served its purpose for a one-night stay, but it was not particularly comfortable, and the communication and guest information could be improved significantly.

Large spacious room, huge array of choices for breakfast, better than any other place even if it is self serve. Eric was very friendly and helpful. Parking easy and convenient. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic place to stay if you are going to be working around or visiting Teagasc, for example. Its closeby, handy,has everything you need for a short stay. Its 7 min drive to Fermoy (tricky to walk on the road), breakfast is self-service kind of way with everything you need to be provided in the spotless kitchen! If you have to stay for few days, there are also storage places for every room.

We were visiting some ancestral homes in and around the area but this location was also really convenient for Cork and Cobh. Eric the host and owner was great - super helpful and checked in every day to make sure all was well. Full shared kitchen stocked with every convenience was also great - as was having a space to hangout besides the room to do some work. Plus fun to meet other guests.

We really enjoyed staying here. The owner was very kind and available for any help needed. It's nice to have breakfast and chat with the other travelers.

This was a great place to stay! The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful when we had an issue upon arrival. The kitchen and shared areas were well thought out, stocked, and useful. This served as a great launching off point for several day trips as it is super conveniently located just off the motorway with services and amenities on the exit. Would highly recommend!

Eric, the Host was excellent.

Room comfortable, bed comfortable, room and ensuite spotless. One complaint on first night, room stat had been put up over 30 and the room was very hot and because of underfloor heating had to wait until following night to get it comfortable, I suppose if I had been there earlier I could have opened a window to cool it down. Overall very good experience, kitchen was impressive, spotless and very, very well stocked. Full marks to Eric for running a good show. A word of warning for those using Garmin satnav. Mine is supposed to be up to date, had the Eircode in the right place but directed me to the slip road to the motorway and had to go all the way to Fermoy to come back. The entrance is between the two roundabouts, to the right coming from Cork, to the left coming from Dublin.

Convenient location and overall nice place. Everything is very simple there but that’s nice in a way too.

Eric was great to communicate with even with my Canadian cell service leaving me hanging. He had everything ready for us and his directions were spot on. Bedroom & bathoom were clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen and breakfast room was a communal experience where we met some fine folks to chat with. Great experience!

We had a car rental and we’re traveling around Ireland when we happen upon this location. If you’re using Expedia, you’ll want to contact the owner in order to get the instructions as Expedia may changes and he cannot contact direct at this time we called he text the instructions. It was very easy to get into the property safe and quiet. Our room was amazing roomy for three. And there were free breakfast options serve yourself. We will definitely stay here again. It’s a beautiful home.

Great parking, clean room and kitchen

The idea of a breakfast is a joke. Bring your own food! - Yes there was a great range of Cornflakes and the likes and some cheese and yogurt and fruit but that is it. I could not find a tea bag. It was especially difficult to note that while there were four beds there was not a cup or a glass to have a drink of water. The eircode broght me to what I presume was a 'sister' house and I had to ring to get directions to the actual house. The property is excellently located and I was welcomed and had a fine sleep but no glass and no breakfast. Not good enough.
