We had such a wonderful experience here! Small scale hotel in a beautiful setting with the highest standards. The kind of place you feel ‘homesick’ for when you get back home, even after just one night ;)
Staff went out of their way to make our stay special and to provide us with a very friendly welcome. A special thanks to Jacqueline for her warm, personable service and for putting the cherry on our cake, making the weekend especially memorable for us.
Dinner at Voltaire was also amazing. The menu was excellent, with gorgeous dishes (in looks and taste) and restaurant staff had the same high standards as hotel staff. Without it feeling formal or stuffy.
We stayed in the Large Loft, which was a fantastic room and even better than I had imagined from the pictures on the website. Very spacious and light, with a unique feel. Comfy bed, nicely decorated, toiletries were nice, plenty and complete.
The breakfast was elaborate and delicious, very friendly and cheerful service by Timon who is clearly passionate about his work. While we usually prefer to skip breakfast to have a lie in, this was a way better start to the day. A full breakfast table with lots to choose from, with gorgeous views.
The team clearly genuinely cared for making everything perfect for their guests. We hope be back some time soon. In the meantime, we’ll happily recommend to friends and family who also love high hospitality standards and good food!
